The staff at the Acorn Rainham branch are a credit to the sector, from our initial talks with Kieran through to Mark and Remmi when completing. They all went above and beyond to make sure we was fully satisfied and always kept us updated.
In this process we had dealt with several estate agents and by far Acorn Rainham were the best.
If we were to need an estate agent again. Acorn Rainham would be our top choice and would highly recommend them.

I have dealt with multiple estate agents in the past, and I found the staff at Acorn Rainham branch exceptional. Mark and Kieran were professional as well as very friendly and easy to get on with. They kept me informed the whole time, which other agents have not.

Appalling customer service and no communication (or no care?!) when they want money they will send multiple emails but as soon as you need anything there is radio silence. I had to ask them to stop emailing me when they sent over 9 emails in one day asking for a deposit 'immediately' despite only sending the paperwork that morning ( we had waited for a week for said paperwork) they have been hard to get hold of, rude and uncaring and I will never ever use them again. We are still waiting for them to remove furniture from the property that they said they would remove (it wasnt meant to be here so we have been trying to work around it) and they dont care - incredibly frustrating
Josh at Medway looked after us through a very difficult sale. We felt well supported and informed. issues were navigated well. This is especially impressive as medway had a special “no fee” deal on as the branch had only just opened. We will definatly use them again.
BEST TEAM EVER,i was having a lots of requests about how i want to look my flat ,i want a big flat with two baths and two bedrooms in a good area and the team from acorn made me feel like it s so easy to find the flat that i need to be perfect,two of the agents helped me more than somebody will ever do ,they answer at any hour on the phone when i called to ask any question and they had the perfect answer to make me feel safe and secure about moving,i ve seen many flats from this agency until i find the right one for me and they keept going to help me with all the paper work that i needed,i had a excelent experience with them!

Acorn Lettings are one of the worst letting agencies that I have ever known. I rented with them for one year and the experience was awful. The building had no hot water on a number of occasions and they didn't even reimburse fees having to shower elsewhere. They are never on help to hand with anything but if your rent is one day late they threaten to remove you from the property. Overall, a terrible and unhelpful agency - all they care about is money.
We recently moved into a property managed by Acorn in East Dulwich, London - sold to us using images that were not truly representative of the condition of the house. We were incredibly excited to move into a clean, well maintained new property after searching for so long. We really felt like we’d found the perfect house to make a home in - this was NOT the case.
Prior to move in it was stressed to Acorn that a professional, deep clean was imperative as one of us had recently been discharged from hospital having undergone life saving surgery on his lung. When we arrived, not only had the deep clean not happened, but we discovered numerous hazardous faults with the property. Acorn later admitted to us (Cailey) that nobody had actually inspected the property prior to our move-in. I believe the term used was ‘overlooked’.
Hazards that we discovered:
- There was a faulty light fitting in the hallway with exposed live wires that were tripping the electrics in the house - the temporary fix was a small piece of cardboard between the live wire and the metal light fitting. Luckily one of us is a qualified electrician and safely dealt with this.
- The outdoor decking (that was beautiful in the pictures) was rotting and soft to tread on in places - extremely hazardous.
- Broken glass and ceramic tiles scattered in the garden.
- Thick layers of dirt and dust behind furniture in bedrooms.
- Black mould in the kitchen.
- Cracked tiles on the bathroom floor.
- Broken burglar alarm on the exterior of the property that was hanging off.
The member of our household who had just been released from hospital was advised by his surgeon to vacate the property due to the thick layers of dust discovered in his bedroom.
After a long stressful slog of us chasing Acorn to resolve these issues they eventually sent a maintenance man who was lovely. He told told us the property was unsafe and he’d been telling them for years that work needs to be done.
Not only were Acorn incredibly unhelpful despite us being clear that we wanted to work TOGETHER to resolve the issues we had, they tried to tell us that the issues we had were ‘cosmetic’. Collectively, our experience with Acorn has been extremely stressful and has had a huge negative impact on us over the past few months.
After a total lack of urgency from Acorn to solve the issues we had, we were given no choice other than to vacate the property off our own accord. The stress of living there with no hope of our situation improving became too much.
Acorn are now trying to take our deposit off us to pay for the months rent we refused to pay.
If you are thinking of letting through Acorn PLEASE reconsider - it really isn’t worth the stress.

Acorn moved us into an unsafe, unclean property during the pandemic. The lights did not work and numerous parts of the property were rotting. The agents refused to make any changes to the property in order to make it safe. We vacated the property a month after moving in, after which they decided to try and take all of our deposit. Please do not engage with these agents!
Acorn sold our 2 bedroom property in Bromley and we would recommend them to anyone we speak to. From start to finish they were brilliant. From giving us a realistic valuation on our property, great pictures of our home, a number of viewings and support from offer through to exchange and completion. They kept us updated at all times and nothing was ever too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you so much!
