The staff at the Acorn Rainham branch…

The staff at the Acorn Rainham branch are a credit to the sector, from our initial talks with Kieran through to Mark and Remmi when completing. They all went above and beyond to make sure we was fully satisfied and always kept us updated. In this process we had dealt with several estate agents and by far Acorn Rainham were the best. If we were to need an estate agent again. Acorn Rainham would be our top choice and would highly recommend them. Well done Mark, Kieran and Remmi Thankyou so much Lee & Alice

I have dealt with multiple estate agents in the past, and I found the staff at Acorn Rainham branch exceptional. Mark and Kieran were professional as well as very friendly and easy to get on with. Excellent experience

I have had an outstanding service from Acorn's property management team including Laura Whelan & Conor Norris since August 2019. I'd like to mention Amanda McPherson as an outstanding property manager; she is friendly, professional & efficient. She has been there whenever I've needed something. Furthermore when I sold my property, Daniel Milligan valued it in an honest & professional manner, securing the asking price on the first day of viewing. Throughout the sale, Dominic Lloyd, Leo & Sharon Costen made it a smooth and trouble free experience. Thank you

Initially after a viewing they send me…

Initially after a viewing they send me quite a few emails......i made an offer and after that never heard from them again. I made phone call after phone call to get an update but was told that the agent was either out on a viewing or would return the call later.....they never did....this went on for nearly x2 weeks until i just stopped calling.....im not saying all of them are like that but certainly it was the norm at their Peckham branch....and i have no idea why

I am a landlord who has rented my property through Acorn. Jamie Perrin has been amazing. He is reliable, responsive to questions asked and the best. I can't praise him enough for his work. Thank you. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because another staff member was dealing with my property previously who was very deffensive and unapproachable for years.

Immoral and untrustworthy estate agent

Absolutely terrible estate agents for renting. Took holding deposit from my sister, dragged their feet ‘chasing the landlord’ and then continued to hold an open house a week later to hold out for more money for the landlord. Immoral and greed driven from both estate agent and landlord

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Absolute nightmare renting with Acorn. When we took over our flat it was meant to be 'professionally cleaned' which it was not and there was blood on the toilet seat!! They even included the picture in the moving in inventory so they obviously think that's acceptable. We had so many plumbing issues that literal toilet waste came up from the shower and flooded the floor, was unable to use this bathroom for months and the landlord told us nothing was wrong use some bleach every few weeks down the drain..... We never got reimbursed for not being able to use this facility. The front door in the summer used to heat up that we physically couldn't open it as it was slightly leaning to the side so was jammed. It was only after making a formal complaint and getting confirmation from the fire-brigade that the door was a danger to our lives if there was a fire that it was looked into, but we had to get in and out using the balcony doors for several months! They also argued with us to pay £12 for a new part for the shower screen that was mouldy. They try and squeeze any penny from the tenants to pay for things the landlord should replace. Not a surprise at all they are now trying to take payments from our deposit for the bathroom he should have fixed when we told him and holding onto out deposit for over a month now. I cannot wait for the day to never have to deal with them again. Please learn from my mistake and use any other rental estate agent!

DO NOT RENT WITH ACORN

DO NOT RENT WITH ACORN I can’t comment on the sales side but the lettings agency is awful. Landlord barely maintained property (he fixed what he likes). Moving in was hard enough (we should have realised this) as other have said cleans claimed to have been done weren’t done and the property had many faults he didn’t want to fix. Getting anything fixed is an uphill battle and getting your deposit back to is aswell you will need to go through the dispute service. This agency should be inspected with the agencies they below too as they seem to do what they like and not respect contracts/ property rental law - please rent a property elsewhere if you can !! **edit / they have over 50% bad reviews. Our case wasn’t deal with appropriately we have to take legal actions as acorn do not care about tenants

Amazing Team

I dealt with Samantha from when purchasing my first home and she was just too good for words!! As a first time home buyer the whole process was so stressful and Samantha was just brilliant in explaining things, keeping me in the loop, providing me with helpful information and just as a general support for the process. I would have been a mess with out her! Would 100% recommend Acorn (Especially Samantha) when buying a home!

Great team at strood!*****

We couldn’t be happier that we have sold our home with Acorn. The whole team have been absolutely amazing! We Didn’t feel pressured to sell at all, not like other estate agents you can feel pressured into being pushed for a sale. From start to finish you have all been so friendly. We couldn’t be more thrilled we have sold our home through You. Everyone has kept us so informed and every member we have dealt with has been so patient and professional. Our house sale Almost fell through and josh sladden kept it all together and always communicated with us to let us know what was happening. Josh went above and beyond for our house sale and we truly cannot thank him enough. He is a credit to the team! Thank you to everyone involved in our sale, Jonathan, Jamie, josh and anyone else who we have dealt with. You’ve all been amazing! Thank you Acorn I’ll definitely be recommending you.
