The worst operator I've ever used. The internet is absolutely unstable. The speed is 0.2mb/s and this is 4g coverage? According to diagnostics, it feels like they're "scattering" it across different servers, like some kind of parasite. Ping is crazy. +- normal internet only at night. I don't recommend it
False Advertising Buyer Beware.
You have to purchase a plan by contract before you get your free month and then you have very little data as they say it's a FAIR USAGE POLICY.

Absolutely terrible. Indescribably useless. Data rarely ever works, and if it does, it’s 3g. There is no roaming despite what they say. I’ve tried everything and even got in contact with 48 to fix the issue and still nothing works. On top of that, you are not able to call non Irish numbers. UK, Spain, America etc. Complete joke. I don’t understand how something can be so useless. I am not usually the type to leave reviews and complain about things, but holy god 48 is terrible. The price is good, but the quality of services needs a serious overhaul.
The best deal on the market. Can't go wrong for 7.99 really. Had no issues porting and the coverage in my area is better than what it was with GoMo. Handy to have an app too
With 48 two weeks now.A problem arose which was not 48's fault.I was guided through my issue by chat with reps.Problem solved and am very happy with the service.
Cheap company, cheap service. I paid for 2 months service but I was unable to use their service at all due to an issue with the sim. I am now into month 4 and still waiting for the issue to be resolved and I will clearly be left waiting. Having been sent a second sim that doesnt work, customer service knows it doesnt work but are happy to leave it up to me to sort out myself, well I couldnt be bothered. It was also agreed with a customer service agent that I would be refunded as I was unable to use a service that I paid for but this was of course not done either. I have had conversations with several customer service agents to no avail. The customer is left to deal with the issue themselves. I approached them with caution and thankfully did not trust them to port my number. If I had I would have lost my phone number like others and I am also thankfully still with my other company so I am not left without service. I am very disappointed.
I have been with 48 for about three months now and I cannot fault the service. It is everything I wanted and has had no problems since joining. The community is great if you need help. For the price and the amount of Wifi it is more than generous.

AVIOD this company at all costs, I’ve been with them 2 months and rarely have mobile data, I have 2 mobile phones so I can swap the sims to confirm it’s the network that’s at fault not the phone, Customer service is woefully bad, I’ve Already order a new sim to move back to my original provider- don’t be tempted by the cheap price, it’s not worth it -avoid this company!
bit of a disaster unless you can accept fortnightly service issues. webchat employees try their best, but I had to leave and go back to vodafone.
its really only suitable for younger customers that will accept the service issues due to low price. pity.
Just moved over from VF. Very easy, straightforward process. Kept same number, took 90mins to switch over. No issues with data or making/receiving phones calls so far. The mobile data 4g is incredibly fast, 2x or 3x faster than my previous provider. Would recommend based on my experience to date.
