Disgusting compamy

How on earth can Yorkshire Water possibly believe they are a good company. 21% water leakage. Polluting our rivers with sewage. Increasing our bills by over £200.00 per year. Still paying out bonuses and dividends to shareholders at our expense. I will vote for anyone who brings water companies back under being state run. To top it all off we have a hose pipe ban, I can't wash my car but I can pay someone else to do so. I can't wash my windows but I can pay someone else to do so, whats the difference? Yorkshire Water are you going to give everyone in Yorkshire a rebate?

Water meter installation

After trying to arrange a water meter on line several times, always getting the message that no time slots were available I decided to phone early one morning. The pleasant young lady soon had me fixed up with an appointment. It is an automated system but it's not intrusive and you're quickly talking to a real person.

Hello people .I thought i need to let…

Hello people .I thought i need to let you all know how Yorkshire water rip off customers .FIRST OF ALL YOU ARE NOT CUSTOMERS .You are just MUGS . I have been trying to get my water tested for best part of a year as it has a high contents taste of chlorine .Chlorine is basically how they mask dirty water .All my area have noticed this .So after some 10 months they agree to come out and test the water .Then cancel the appointment at the last minute .Then arrange a new appointment .told me i would get a call from the person that comes out to me an hour before to give me notice and they phone me and tell me they are outside my home 9 minutes before the dead line of the appointment .But i should of waited in all day for them so they say .I was also told that they will make a note that i cancelled which i said dont you dare .He also said someone will contact you to make a new appointment .That was almost a week ago .So im chasing it up yet again and no one will sort the matter . So Yorkshire water put the prices up 41% and extort more money out of us for a better service and better quality of water .S o that must mean they know for years they have been supplying the public crap . Also This is the best part .I went to the main office because the just take customers for a fool only to be told by security the no one works hear .Yes thats right YORKSHIRE WATERS MAIN OFFICE DO NOT HAVE STAFF WORKING IN THE BUILDING .So the must be an empty build and we are paying for staff to do us a service but they are no staff .IM CONFUSED .HA .PEOPLE THESE COMPANIES ARE THE BIGGEST MAFIA IN THE UK EXTORTING MONEY FROM US It is about time we do something about it .If we pay for a service the we want what we are paying for .Has anyone got any back bone .

Absolutely excellent service from Yorkshire water

I telephoned Yorkshire water today to explain that I had misplaced my payment card. As I also had an outstanding balance on my 2024 bill I asked if this could be added to my 25 bill and adjust the payments accordingly. Nothing was too much trouble to the lovely friendly lady who dealt with my inquiry and absolutely sorted it out in the most professional and friendly manner. I have always had a very positive and friendly relationship with Yorkshire water. The mannerism efficiently and friendly service they offer their customers is always a credit to them I wish all my other utility customers would actually take a leaf from their book. To the lady that dealt with my inquiry and request thank you so much for a friendly efficient service. Well done Yorkshire water.
