The best water company in my…

The best water company in my experience. Well run and sympathetic with customers when things go wrong at their property - as it did at mine when I was away! I got the problem fixed asap on my return but was expecting to get stung for the water used but Wessex Water didn’t hit me with a massive charge. They sent my case to a special board who decided I’d done my best to stop the wasted water and therefore didn’t deserve to get punished. I got a small nominal charge and that was it! That made me realise they’re a good company. That’s backed up by the total lack of any bad stories in the news about them. My advice - move to an area served by Wessex Water!

Repair of Domestic Sewer Blockage

I was very pleased with the overall service to resolve an unexpected issue. Having logged the issue out of hours using the online tool I was impressed with the immediate response meaning the next morning the issue had been resolved. Compliments to the process allowing me to relay information and all those who contributed to issue resolution.

Outstanding service

The customer service advisor who took our call was very helpful and Rudy was with us in a couple of hours. He was polite, diligent and kept us informed throughout the process, carrying out the job very thoroughly.

Reported a blockage to out of hours…

Reported a blockage to out of hours council for a blockage in a public sewer and the man hole seemed to be in my back garden got no where last night so rang up again this morning and got put through to a drainage company who said they would raise the enquiry and someone would be in contact soon anyway 2 hours later I got a call from Wessex water saying an engineer would be out shortly within 30 mins of that call an engineer rang me and said he’d be 10 mins and with that 20 mins later and the blockage was cleared the engineer was friendly and efficient and did an amazing job would highly recommend Wessex water

Water pressure has been poor for 3…

Water pressure has been poor for 3 years. For many weeks now our water has been off at times every day. The water pressure has been blamed on the drought but it was happening before the hot weather. We did have some bottled water delivered which helped for drinking water but only for this week. 6 people in the house and we rarely have enough pressure for a shower.

Missed deadlines…

The leak in the road that I reported still hasn't been fixed despite 2 deadlines being missed. However, I remain confident that you will eventually get round to finishing the job.

Drain problem

I contacted Wessex water to come out and check my drain in my garden. Engineer came out next day and diagnosed the problem. Great work.

Disjointed…

Contacted three times about the same thing then on the last contact they told me to do the thing I had already explained I've done on the first contact...still not resolved the issues and it's been over a week.

Helpful REAL people

The person I spoke to, Jordan I believe, was very helpful, exceptionally informative and gave me easy to understand information. I've had a few bad experiences with Customer Chats with companies like Eon and Amazon and have had occasions where I'm certain I was being passed over to an AI chatbot or someone who's first language wasn't English and we had a language barrier- but I felt that Wessex had reliable informative respectful people working here.
