From the relaxed and unrushed viewing held by Alex to the efficient service and amazing communication from Helen in the contracts team I can’t fault the Waterfords Fleet branch. Helen kept me updated and was beyond friendly it felt like chatting to a friend at points. Highly recommend and would definitely use again!

I don't usually write reviews...but feel I need to make an exception

The sale of my house completed today and I have to say a HUGE thank you to Richard Day at Waterfords, Camberley. Our situation was complicated as we are merging two households with 2 houses to sell and, whilst my sale through Waterfords was relatively straightforward, Richard was always there, keeping me informed of what was happening and really making sure that we could make the sale move along in good time and in the best interest of both parties. However, Richard was not just doing everything we would hope an estate agent would do for our sale, he also became a hughly valuable source of reason, valuable information and support with regard to our onward purchase...which has proved far from straightforward and I can't thank him enough for keeping me sane - or relatively at least, through what has been a very difficult and highly irregular experience at the hands of not just one but two other local estate agents. Curiously when we were going through the process of looking for an estate agent to sell for us, Waterfords Camberley, were also far and away the most professional and reasonable from the word go - I have moved so many times in my life, and never felt remotely inclined to write a positive review for an estate agent, but this is absolutely the exception. It is so refreshing to find a team who provide the service that they say they will from start to finish. Genuinely - thank you.

Poor Communication

I wouldn't use this company again based on my experience with Camberley branch. Tried to get a viewing booked, no phone calls just email, they finally got back to give us with a date & time. We replied agreeing to the viewing details, then... nothing. No confirmation for a few days. We finally got an email confirmation a day before viewing. We got to the property on time and no agent was present, i had to call the branch to find out, they didn't know so they would call back. I then get a text saying your viewing has been cancelled because its now sold, no other communication. How about trying calling your customers? I don't mind properties being sold quick its the nature of the business, but to not even call us to check and completely waste our time is not on. We will be staying away from this company moving forward.

Waterfords are the most amazing estate…

Waterfords are the most amazing estate agents. They made my house sale go through easily. Sarah and Darren in the yateley branch are so professional at all times. Always at the end of the phone for any queries. I am so glad I chose waterfords.

High quality customer service by Luke Cox

We dealt with Luke Cox on the purchase of 26 Angelica road house. Luke supported and guided us in a very professional and personalised approach. Even when the seller reneged on the agreement to sell, Luke went out of his way to try and resolve the impasse. Overall, as a family we were very impressed and satisfied with the first class customer service that we received from Waterfords.

I was not impressed by the lack of…

I was not impressed by the lack of "Personal service" supplied by Waterfords. Once under offer I was passed from the Chobham office to Michael from wherever he was based, whom I had never met. He hassled my solicitors a great deal and once we had exchanged contracts I did not he another word from him or the Chobham office. Very disappointed. The agent I made my purchase through emailed me on the night of exchange with congratualtions and telephoned on the evening of Completion to make sure everything was in order. That is what I call good personal service.

Michael

Michael, Darren and Sarah did all and more to help us purchase our property. Michael chased relentlessly to get our purchase through. With solicitors and other estate agents dragging their heels. Michael was onto everyone in the chain what felt like hourly at some points. Would highly recommend Waterfords when we come to sell this property.

We were first attracted to a local estate agents offering lots of properties in our search radius

We were first attracted to the properties advertised by Waterfords due to the full detail and great photos seen on Rightmove. We always liked the idea of working with a local estate agent, but know that is not always possible. Luckily for us Waterfords had an office based in the area that we were buying, so they were only down the road from our search radius and know the area well as well as the advantage of offering some truly great properties. They kept in contact as we kept our eye out for what we searching for. When we put an offer in for our home we have now exchanged on, Sarah originally dealt with us and communication could not be faulted. Sarah is approachable, knowledgable and made us feel like we too were customers not just the vendors selling the house to us. No question was too much trouble,... and we had lots! As our offer progressed over time, Darren took over our case, I cannot fault the high standard of customer service and he always kept us well informed. Darren was always professional and friendly in his manner. I have already recommended Waterfords to family and I would again to anyone else I hear who is searching for a property. I have friends in the industry and I have highlighted our experience to them. They have a great reputation. We feel honoured to buy our new home through Waterfords and to have dealt with Sarah and Darren. The staff are a credit to the business and represent its values well to all their customers. Thank you Waterfords for making our stressful experience of purchasing a house, pain free!
