From the relaxed and unrushed viewing held by Alex to the efficient service and amazing communication from Helen in the contracts team I can’t fault the Waterfords Fleet branch. Helen kept me updated and was beyond friendly it felt like chatting to a friend at points. Highly recommend and would definitely use again!

Waterfords Yateley is a superb estate agency. Beth and Harry are an outstanding team who both know the market and area very well. Their assistance throughout the process, particularly liaising with solicitors, buyers and other agents, has enabled us to sell as smoothly as possible. I don't usually write reviews...but feel I need to make an exception

The sale of my house completed today and I have to say a HUGE thank you to Richard Day at Waterfords, Camberley. Our situation was complicated as we are merging two households with 2 houses to sell and, whilst my sale through Waterfords was relatively straightforward, Richard was always there, keeping me informed of what was happening and really making sure that we could make the sale move along in good time and in the best interest of both parties. However, Richard was not just doing everything we would hope an estate agent would do for our sale, he also became a hughly valuable source of reason, valuable information and support with regard to our onward purchase...which has proved far from straightforward and I can't thank him enough for keeping me sane - or relatively at least, through what has been a very difficult and highly irregular experience at the hands of not just one but two other local estate agents. Curiously when we were going through the process of looking for an estate agent to sell for us, Waterfords Camberley, were also far and away the most professional and reasonable from the word go - I have moved so many times in my life, and never felt remotely inclined to write a positive review for an estate agent, but this is absolutely the exception. It is so refreshing to find a team who provide the service that they say they will from start to finish. Genuinely - thank you.

Poor Communication

I wouldn't use this company again based on my experience with Camberley branch. Tried to get a viewing booked, no phone calls just email, they finally got back to give us with a date & time. We replied agreeing to the viewing details, then... nothing. No confirmation for a few days. We finally got an email confirmation a day before viewing. We got to the property on time and no agent was present, i had to call the branch to find out, they didn't know so they would call back. I then get a text saying your viewing has been cancelled because its now sold, no other communication. How about trying calling your customers? I don't mind properties being sold quick its the nature of the business, but to not even call us to check and completely waste our time is not on. We will be staying away from this company moving forward.

Buying a property

Had a great experience, in particular with Tom! He kindly provided a document with detailed property information which was fantastic and went above and beyond to answer our questions, even popping back to the property to photograph bits missed! Thanks Tom!

Rental Letting experience

We were looking for suitable accommodation in the Camberley area, unfortunately we just missed out on one, Josh recommended we look at a prospect in Fleet/ Having taken the advice, we viewed and immediately felt it was the perfect choice for us. Mr Mills understood exactly what we were looking for and his professional experience was impressive. Mr Mills was a pleasure to deal with.

Currently buying a property through…

Currently buying a property through Waterfords and was very impressed with the professionalism shown. Henry showed us around the property and was very informative and genuine and Ollie has been very proactive and helpful over the phone. Would recommend to a friend.

Property valuation.

We had a visit from Ollie a couple of days ago who valued our property. He was very professional and polite and answered everything we asked in a straightforward manner. Very respectful of our property and I would highly recommend him and thoroughly enjoyed meeting him.

Great service!

I have been a client of Waterfords for some time now, and have only good things to say about the service recieved. The thing I consistently notice with the team is the all round upbeat attitude. There is never any pressure when speaking with them and we have built a good working relationship. The team have a good insight into the market, and I have been highly impressed by how quickly they have been able to let my property.

Lying, incompetent and lacklustre service

We rented a property through Waterfords and initially thought they were extremely professional. We used the Camberley branch and up until the move in - I couldn’t fault them. However , once we started living there - a few issues arose. #1 our property manager gave our landlord permission to enter the property with his own keys despite us informing them that they didn’t have our permission.(my partner was home alone and received the shock of her life when he burst through the door.) When I raised my concerns about this I was told I was over reacting , that there was a misunderstanding and that essentially as the landlord owned the property , he could enter whenever he pleased. We both know this Is not the case. #2 we actually couldn’t open or lock half of the windows in the property from the day we moved in. After our landlord entered the property without our permission , we naturally didn’t want the landlord entering again. We were told the only person that could fix the issues was the landlord himself. We finally agreed on letting him come round when I wasn’t home so not to scare my partner again. He came round and watched YouTube videos for two hours on how to remove a screw. He knew I was a carpenter and kept hinting that he needed help . But after he essentially broke into our home and our property manager informed us he was the only man capable of the job and after ten hour shift at work I wasn’t going to waste my time. We then had to wait another week for a professional to come round so all in all we couldn’t open or lock the majority of the windows downstairs. #3 left us without a working waste pipe for 2 months so all Of the contents or the sink emptied into the garden ruining some of our possessions. #4 ignored our concerns regarding the cleanliness of the property - we we’re told we had 10 days to mention anything with the check in report we didn’t agree with. We did this within a week. # on top of ignoring our comments regarding the check in report , they tried to extort money out of us when we vacated the property. I have never had one penny deducted from any deposit and I wasn’t going to start now. They withheld our deposit for 6 weeks after we left and the moment I emailed them and suggested I wasn’t accepting their inadequacy for a moment longer and would Be forced to contact TDS unless they retuned our deposit in full. They replied within 48 hours and decided that they would return the deposit in full. All in all a horrendous experience however not the worst we have reviewed from estate agents we have dealt with in the past. I suppose the issues are with the landlord and the Waterfords - however , it’s not just the landlords fault and Waterfords we’re complicit when the landlord broke in, by telling him he had permission to enter despite us informing them that was not the case , did nothing about it when he did break in , lies to me about the law and actually accused me of of being the difficult one! Unprofessional to say the least. Unfortunately , no , your replies are as inadequate as your services itself. I don’t understand why you can’t be honest and admit when you’re at fault.
