Excellent introduction to water no matter how young your baby
The swim instructors are fantastic, we had 2 in our time with water babies. From our first lesson when my little one was 6 weeks old to my last session when she was 8 months old. They were kind, helpful & most of all kept us safe in the water whilst having fun and bonding with our babies. It definitely helped my confidence & my little one has always loved the water & isn't scared at all. The only reason for 1 star short of 5 was the venue, because it is a private school it wasn't catered for the usual public swimming. So the changing facilities weren't set up with cubicles, showers, changing tables for babies etc. However, it was very local for us, so we were happy to compromise on this. We could have had lessons further afield with a more formal changing facility but this wasn't practical for us to travel.

Toria the waterbabies instructor at jethen house is absolutely amazing!! She goes above and beyond to make parents and children feel comfortable, supported and heard. Nothing is too much trouble and any concerns you have regarding swimming with your little one is always taken into consideration and the support you didnt even know you needed is alway's given to make you feel confident and ready to swim with you baby. You can really tell the passion she has for waterbabies not only as an instructor but also as a parent who has been through it twice. Im so so glad I chose waterbabies and im so so glad we were put into Torias class.
Progressive and fun
Lessons are progressive and so much fun for me and my daughter. We have been attending since she was 12 weeks old and have no intentions to stop. The confidence gained in just 14 weeks is incredible. Lessons do tend to run late meaning we start later than expected, and this obviously will happen when dealing with children! but I have noticed that our session is occasionally cut five minutes short which is disappointing considering each session is over £20 for half hour.

We enjoy the classes
We enjoy the classes, especially Jackie. She is great. However, we feel the term could be more structured as we often don't know what we are working towards or when they are going to get their badges and certificates.

We love Waterbabies
We love Waterbabies. My daughter is thriving in the water and on holiday last year we were confident she was safe in the water and would be able to instantly react in an event of danger. My daughter loves her swimming lessons and regularly sings the songs at home and asks to go swimming every day. We’ve been ever so lucky to have such fantastic teachers and advice throughout even through the water wobbles and helping us with tips for bath time too.

Our little boy really enjoys…
Our little boy really enjoys waterbabies and he is very confident in the water. As parents we would like it back into the chapter format. 10 focused session and then the badge. We just found that the format worked better and the children understood the rhymes and skills better under the old format

Amazing experience at Water Babies
Our little boy has an amazing teacher. Kim is brilliant! Always so welcoming, cheerful, makes the lessons fun and tries to bring out the best in her children. Our son loves his swimming lesson and looks forward to it each week. Water Babies has given him a love for water and confidence in the water.

Great experience with water babies
We absolutely loved taking her daughter swimming! The pool water and room was the perfect temperature which made it relaxing. The instructor, Jasmine, was perfect - warm, informative, understanding and fun. We felt very safe and confident during and afterwards. Definitely recommend! Thank you

Water Babies lessons are lovely
Water Babies lessons are lovely. They're a good mix of swimming skills, water safety and most importantly, fun. Laura, our teacher, is fantastic and has a great connection with all of the children. My daughter adores her and is desperate to please her. The only downside is that the lessons are now very expensive. The class sizes have been diminishing rapidly over the last year purely due to the rising costs of lessons.

We have been swimming with water babies…
We have been swimming with water babies since my son was 6 months old. He’s now nearly. It’s a great skill/ safety skill to be able to have from such a young age! It’s also allowed us to feel comfortable and safe when we’ve taken him swimming on holiday! Great teachers and would definitely recommend it!
