Excellent introduction to water no matter how young your baby
The swim instructors are fantastic, we had 2 in our time with water babies. From our first lesson when my little one was 6 weeks old to my last session when she was 8 months old. They were kind, helpful & most of all kept us safe in the water whilst having fun and bonding with our babies. It definitely helped my confidence & my little one has always loved the water & isn't scared at all. The only reason for 1 star short of 5 was the venue, because it is a private school it wasn't catered for the usual public swimming. So the changing facilities weren't set up with cubicles, showers, changing tables for babies etc. However, it was very local for us, so we were happy to compromise on this. We could have had lessons further afield with a more formal changing facility but this wasn't practical for us to travel.

Toria the waterbabies instructor at jethen house is absolutely amazing!! She goes above and beyond to make parents and children feel comfortable, supported and heard. Nothing is too much trouble and any concerns you have regarding swimming with your little one is always taken into consideration and the support you didnt even know you needed is alway's given to make you feel confident and ready to swim with you baby. You can really tell the passion she has for waterbabies not only as an instructor but also as a parent who has been through it twice. Im so so glad I chose waterbabies and im so so glad we were put into Torias class.
Progressive and fun
Lessons are progressive and so much fun for me and my daughter. We have been attending since she was 12 weeks old and have no intentions to stop. The confidence gained in just 14 weeks is incredible. Lessons do tend to run late meaning we start later than expected, and this obviously will happen when dealing with children! but I have noticed that our session is occasionally cut five minutes short which is disappointing considering each session is over £20 for half hour.

Water Babies is a great company.
Water Babies is a great company to start swimming lessons for your little one. I started swimming with my daughter when she was 2 months and she has loved every single lesson! She earned her first badge and I know these will be a great keepsake for her to look back on as she gets older. She is learning some great water safety skills which is the most important thing to me. Don’t be nervous to take your baby, they are in safe hands with the amazing instructors and you!

Water Babies’ Underwater Shoot
We’ve attended the underwater shoot of Water Babies 2 weeks ago and I just received the photos today. All I can say is it is all worth it! My little one enjoyed the shoot itself as they have a set program to keep the babies busy while waiting for their turn. The photos all looked amazing that we cannot pick just one and had to buy the whole album for us to keep and send to our relatives back home. What a great experience and I will surely do this again in the future!

Water Babies is a fantastic team and super friendly, my daughter has been going to their lessons since she was 3 months old and has so much confidence in the water now at 14 months old! The classes are fun and educational and keep the children engaged! Definitely would recommend!

Warm and Inviting
I was quite anxious, as a new mum to start swimming with my little one. He’d been incredibly shy and hadn’t enjoyed baby sensory classes and was worried it would be similar with swimming. However we were greeted by Kelly who was incredibly warm and knowledgable. She put my mind at ease and was brilliant with my little one Arthur. We’ve sadly had to move lessons with me going back to work but wanted to say a huge thank you to Kelly. You are fab.

Just go to the pool and play with your…
Just go to the pool and play with your baby. You don’t do much more. Jump of float in parents arms, have parent take you around the pool in different ways and holding different things. From other parents who had been going for 9 months my daughter was doing the same as them who just started. First lesson water babies cancelled, 2nd lesson was just me in the pool with her. Tried cancelling but lost my money because it was past 14 days because of the cancellation of one of their lessons. So I paid right away and that’s when your cancellation policy starts. Emails were not that friendly or understanding. Basically I was expected to cancel before trying it.

Water Babies is incredible
My 7 month old and I have been swimming with Water Babies for 3 months now. I couldn’t rate them highly enough.. the staff, the company, its values, the curriculum for swimming and water safety, their commitment to charity and fundraising.. it’s incredible. Joining water babies is the best thing I have done for my baby, would definitely recommend to mums and dads.. My little girl absolutely loves her lessons, we look forward to going in every week

Water babies swimming coach has been absolutely brilliant and so friendly. Our child’s confidence has grown so much and she enjoys going. The facilities we use are good however there are not many provisions in place for baby changing which when a large group trying to change together makes it difficult

Excellent. The sessions are brilliant and I can see that Ruby is learning. Ali the swim coach is so good with the kids and with teaching. Her instructions are so clear. Making the experience of teaching a baby basic life skills in the water easier.
