TTNC used to have brilliant support- no longer

TTNC used to have brilliant support, if you emailed their support@ or sales@ emails. Now, I cannot get help from anyone, I have been trying for weeks- when you call them, you can only leave a voicemail, when you email you get no response, on live chat they raise a ticket but I have had no resolution for weeks, we have been customers for years but the sudden decline in support is horrendous

Deceitful business practice. Go elsewhere.

Absolutely shocking and deceitful business practices. TTNC added a paid "Dark Web Monitoring" service to our account on an "opt-out" basis, a service we never requested or wanted. While they claim they sent a notification, it was buried in an unclear e-shot marketing email. The "opt-out" was in fine print, making it extremely easy to miss. This is an extremely shady and deceptive way to do business. We later discovered this led to over £350 in charges for a service we never used. When we contacted them, the company's response was that we should have been checking our invoices more closely, completely ignoring the fact that they signed us up for a paid service without our permission, and have refused to refund. I would strongly advise potential customers to look elsewhere and be extremely cautious of any unsolicited services they may try to add to your account. I also urge existing customers to meticulously go through their past invoices to ensure they haven't been charged for hidden services. We are taking our business elsewhere and will be reporting this practice wherever we can.

Very disappointing

Be careful of this company. I spent thousands with them over a 7 year period, and literally as soon as I stopped using their service they started chasing for an outstanding payment of £25 and it was escalated to legal within 30 days. The first Customer Service email from an actual person I EVER received from them in 7 years contained the phrase: "If we do not receive payment prior to x your account will be transferred to our Pre legal team who will pursue the debt vigorously." Avoid.

TTNC VoiP User for several years.

Been using the TTNC VoiP system for several years. Recently cane to reconfigure our system and was helped through online chat by Lauren. Very very quick and helpful and patient with my low levels of technical ability. Thanks you so much! TTNC and the after-service is first class.

Long-term customer left frustrated

I have been a TTNC customer for around ten years, with a significant monthly spend, and until recently I’ve always found the service excellent. Unfortunately, my latest experience has been extremely disappointing. Since 28th August, I have made multiple attempts to place a straightforward order for a couple of VOIP phones and telephone lines. I’ve left phone messages, sent three emails, and even tried the chatbot (which timed out). Despite all of this, I still haven’t had my request dealt with. As a long-standing client, I expect better. In the past, TTNC have always been responsive and reliable, but this transaction has been frustrating and falls well short of the standard I’ve come to value over the years. I hope this matter is resolved quickly, but right now, my confidence in TTNC has been badly shaken.

Customer service does not exist. You only get a ticket number I live abroad and I unable to make calls abroad or contact TTC and I get a ticket number and they suspended my account and told me that I need to top up my account what you can’t because

TTNC shock surprise I think their customer service is working again. They have tried to call me twice and result my problem. It seems like they’re beginning to have the customer service working and have replied to my comments. I’m happy to say that it’s on the way to being a good customer service telephone calls a bitter spread but it seems to be emails sent takes a little bit of time to get things working but it seems to be okay nownot perfect but I would definitely can. I continue to use them. I’m happy with response cycle thank you.

Lauren called to help clear up any issues I had with actioning the portal. She was very knowledgeable on every aspect, helped to understand how to make the best use of the portal and was generally very patient with helping me through it. Very professional service. Friendly and very pleasant to talk with.

Watch out for hidden contract wording. We had previously purchased from this company on a pay as you go without issue then one day added a line in the t&c's that said if you decide to leave you will have to pay for 12 months. I wasnt going to leave a review as new customers wouldnt have this issue as they will see this change the in t&c's However i explained the situation and the fact i didnt know they had changed the t&c's and instead of simply cancelling the £64 admin charge for this they have now decided to try and take me to court and due to previous purchases and staff mentioning there where no hidden charges i am happy to go to court with my prove. EDIT since their reply below. i have tried to reach out to the and explain the issue they have decided to keep taking me to court. also they cannot get away with charging for 12 months when i chose not to have a 12 month contract. its a bit like signing up for a monthly phone contract instead of 12 months and cancelling after 1 month and then the provider saying but we will still charge you for 12 months that you didnt want

I have been with TTNC for a few years…

I have been with TTNC for a few years now. The service has always been great, I have had to contact support very few times, the last time was Ricky Walker. Excellent service, fixed and understood my issue the same day, phoned me up as well to ensure all was ok. Superb service all round.

Wouldn't use them again if they were the last Communications company on earth

We took this company to the Communications Ombudsman after reading all the other reviews about the mysterious "Dark Web Monitor" that appeared on our bills when the company accountant picked up this charge at year-end. They bullishly refused to refund, saying they had sent emails a year prior with a '30 day free trial' followed by continuation of the service if you don't reply. That is not the definition of an explicit opt-in to a service. TTNC then provided conflicting responses, including their initial promise to reverse the charges, followed by a reversal of that offer and then sent aggressive emails 'claiming the money back' within days, which was laughable. We paid - and then proceeded to follow the correct channels, asking for a deadlock letter. They did this - and were so incompetent that they put the wrong communications dispute service in their letter, putting CISAS instead of the Communications Ombudsman. Many calls to their office ask you to leave a voicemail - hardly a 'communications' company if you can't get anyone on the phone easily, and have to raise a ticket / email them. Needless to say, we were awarded all our money back, plus a goodwill gesture. Here's the irony - they're still sending "How did we do?" emails. It's a shame, as they were a great company - until they got bought out by Chess Plc. Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole if they were the last communications company on earth.
