Classic Tuscany Tour - Fantastic

The travel department had every thing arranged with no delays so well organised. The tour guide was excellent so informative and extremely nice Claudia . The only problem was sitting at the same table every night you did not get to know all the other guests as there was 50
Lake Como - Great holiday
Our second holiday with Travel Department as we knew from previous experience, that from the moment of booking you can relax and know everything is taken care of. A leisurely 7 night holiday with 3 leisure days. The included tours were excellent and our guide Carol looked after us very well. Hotel Bazzoni was comfortable and we enjoyed the half board meals. We had a balcony facing the lake and enjoyed watching the activity on the lake. Would recommend Travel Department for a holiday to Lake Como.

Our guide Meltem was excellent and did a wonderful job telling us about her country and its culture. I think that she was key in making this such an enjoyable and interesting trip. The accommodation and the bus driver were excellent also.

On a recent trip to Venice, Lake Bled, and Croatia, I found the whole experience most enjoyable and hassle free. The guides were very knowledgeable and very helpful. The hotel choices were very good, and overall the Travel Department delivered once again, on this my third trip with them.

Our guide Claudia was wonderful, full of information and extremely friendly. The hotel was very good with professional staff and close to the sea, and the weather, over which non of us has control, was glorious.

Trip to Salzburg and Vienna
Everything was planned for us by the Travel Department and our guides were so knowledgeable.We still had time to explore on our own with helpful information on how to get there.I think it would be a good idea for the guides to have microphones as we couldn’t always hear one of them.We would love to get some recommendations for places to eat too as it was a bit hit and miss in Vienna.Otherwise we had an amazing holiday and we plan on travelling agin with the Travel Department in 2024.

I made a recent booking over the telephone with the Travel Dept. This way I was able to pay a deposit and have until March 2024 to pay the full amount. I found the booking agent to be professional, courteous and well informed.

Very enjoyable. Our guide was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, and our second hotel in Naxos was top quality, with great food and facilities, in a perfect location. We would have liked shorter more relaxed day trips, however, and advance info and tips on how to get around independently. Sicily was great, and we'll be back, and will also try other Travel Dept holidays.

Definitely recommend
The holiday was excellent. Architecturally Prague is stunning. Our guide Alena was very knowledgeable, engaging and patient. We bought 72 hour passes for travelling to and from our hotel which wasn't in the centre and walked the rest. We enjoyed the food, beer and atmosphere. We managed to see most of the things we had on our list including a Vivaldi concert at the the mirror chapel, Klementinum. There was no stress. The weather was nice for 2 out of 3 days as the cooler temperatures arrived by the 8th but we were glad it was less crowded by going in October.
