Classic Tuscany Tour - Fantastic

The travel department had every thing arranged with no delays so well organised. The tour guide was excellent so informative and extremely nice Claudia . The only problem was sitting at the same table every night you did not get to know all the other guests as there was 50
Lake Como - Great holiday
Our second holiday with Travel Department as we knew from previous experience, that from the moment of booking you can relax and know everything is taken care of. A leisurely 7 night holiday with 3 leisure days. The included tours were excellent and our guide Carol looked after us very well. Hotel Bazzoni was comfortable and we enjoyed the half board meals. We had a balcony facing the lake and enjoyed watching the activity on the lake. Would recommend Travel Department for a holiday to Lake Como.

The Little Trains of the Pyrenees
This was our first experience of a Travel Department holiday. It won't be the last. The booking process was easy. The communication was good. The EasyJet flight was fine. Margaret the tour manager could not have been better - she contacted us a few days before the holiday to arrange meeting us at Barcelona Airport; was well organised; very knowledgeable; good fun; and did all she could to meet the wishes of the group. Everything was better than expected. Just one thing to bear in mind... the Little Yellow Train does not run in October.

Lake Como tour
The organisation from The Travel Department and the trips were first class. The Grand Hotel Cadenabbia Lake Como looked fine, was clean but it was like Faulty Towers! It was not of 4star standard. Firstly we paid extra for a lake view and we’re given a room without a shower. It was very old fashioned and needed updating. Next we ordered tea at breakfast and were given cold tap water with tea bags. Another morning the tea was was hot but had an added element which looked and tasted bad. The breakfast itself was fine.We asked to book an evening meal on two occasions but were told they were too busy! The situation of the hotel was only close to a couple of outside restaurants which made choosing where to eat for our evening meal difficult. Please reconsider using this hotel and it unsuitable situation.

Our trip with the Travel Department to Montenegro was excellent. Everything was so well organised for us. The hotel facilities was perfect, room was cleaned very day and we had fresh towels daily also. Food and entertainment was excellent. Trips was very very good, gave us a good insight into the country and a special mention to our guide Darinka who excellent, meeting us at the airport, giving us all information we needed in very friendly and informative manner. Cannot recommend the Travel Department enough for a holiday will definitely be using their services again
