Classic Tuscany Tour - Fantastic

The travel department had every thing arranged with no delays so well organised. The tour guide was excellent so informative and extremely nice Claudia . The only problem was sitting at the same table every night you did not get to know all the other guests as there was 50
Lake Como - Great holiday
Our second holiday with Travel Department as we knew from previous experience, that from the moment of booking you can relax and know everything is taken care of. A leisurely 7 night holiday with 3 leisure days. The included tours were excellent and our guide Carol looked after us very well. Hotel Bazzoni was comfortable and we enjoyed the half board meals. We had a balcony facing the lake and enjoyed watching the activity on the lake. Would recommend Travel Department for a holiday to Lake Como.

This was our first time holidaying with the Travel Department, and they surpassed all our expectations, from the moment we stepped off the plane to the departure going home again (where the guide wait to wave us all goodbye as we went through security!) Although there were 1 or 2 glitches, they were dealt with immediately and with no disruption to our holiday. We would definately holiday again with the Travel Department.

Have just returned from Sicily with Travel Department. The island is beautiful and the hotel we stayed in and the trips planned were really great, There were some practical issues that caused some stress including not everyone managing to go on every trip, I think these issues could be resolved by looking at the planning of the itinerary and make this holiday a truly fabulous experience.

I would have to give Claire our guide tip marks for making our holiday a memorable experience. Her knowledge of Andalusia, the history of Spain and it's royalty to the people who lived there down the ages and her committed approach to her job, a true professional indeed. The hotel staff also, and the coach drivers, nothing was left to chance, excellent. WE look forward to our next holiday with your DEPARTMENT.

Athens and so much more
The trip to Athens and Tolo was well organised and very enjoyable, the tour guide fantastic, very knowledgeable and full of interesting stories. Our driver was v professional. If I had a negative it would be that the bathrooms in both hotels were not of a 4star standard, the first hotel in Athens had mould around the bath and the hotel in Tolo had a leaky shower which went all over the bathroom floor. Everything else was so well planned out, which mad for a fab holiday.

I had an amazing holiday in Egypt with the Travel Department and to be honest one of the best. I have travelled a lot. Our tour guide Dodi was so caring to everyone in particular to some of the group who had medical issues, very patient, always made sure everyone was OK. He talks about the Temples, Egyptian history and Culture with amazing knowledge. We had some additional fantastic tours which I went on and were organised by Dodi. For example, inside the main Pyramid of Giza. The Balloon Ride at Luxor, with a magical sunrise and views of the Nile and Snorkeling on the Red Sea outer reefs. The most beautiful and colorful Mahmya beach. It was paradise and did not want to leave, it was so relaxing. Gold Stars all the way. 😊 I have to make a separate comment in relation to the food on the HS Radamis11Nile Cruise. It was very repeative and there was not enough of Egyptian food. On the upper deck they need to put some cream cushions on the chairs as they are wooden. My room was nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
