The travel department had every thing arranged with no delays so well organised. The tour guide was excellent so informative and extremely nice Claudia . The only problem was sitting at the same table every night you did not get to know all the other guests as there was 50
Lake Como - Great holiday
Our second holiday with Travel Department as we knew from previous experience, that from the moment of booking you can relax and know everything is taken care of. A leisurely 7 night holiday with 3 leisure days. The included tours were excellent and our guide Carol looked after us very well. Hotel Bazzoni was comfortable and we enjoyed the half board meals. We had a balcony facing the lake and enjoyed watching the activity on the lake. Would recommend Travel Department for a holiday to Lake Como.

Very enjoyable holiday from start to finish. Hotel was lovely and all tours were very organised. Our tour guide was excellent who helped make our holiday so enjoyable. She had a vast amount of knowledge about the areas we visited. Would definitely travel with The Travel Department again.

Prague, Vienna, Budapest
Travel department tour to Prague, Vienna, Budapest was excellent. Guides very knowledgeable, only one, in Vienna, was very quiet and did not use listening aids so I was unable to hear her. But hotels good, buses good, we stuck to time, optional tours were not forced upon you, good selection of optional tours. Only reason not for 5 stars is the verification with Ryanair flights, quite stressful as was not expected. We were lucky we managed to get ours sorted before we left the UK, unfortunately for one couple in our group they had to pay extra at the airport as they were unable to get it sorted whilst on the holiday. Travel department told us this was random selection by Ryanair but it appeared that everyone on the tour were asked to do this for either the outbound or inbound flight. So a pre warning from Travel department would alert you to this would have been useful.
