Classic Tuscany Tour - Fantastic

The travel department had every thing arranged with no delays so well organised. The tour guide was excellent so informative and extremely nice Claudia . The only problem was sitting at the same table every night you did not get to know all the other guests as there was 50

Lake Como - Great holiday
Our second holiday with Travel Department as we knew from previous experience, that from the moment of booking you can relax and know everything is taken care of. A leisurely 7 night holiday with 3 leisure days. The included tours were excellent and our guide Carol looked after us very well. Hotel Bazzoni was comfortable and we enjoyed the half board meals. We had a balcony facing the lake and enjoyed watching the activity on the lake. Would recommend Travel Department for a holiday to Lake Como.

Egypt - the river Nile
I have traveled extensively but this was my first experience with the travel department going to Egypt down the Nile. I would highly recommend in the fact that the trip was very well organised and our tour guide Dodi was exceptionally knowledgeable and kept everything interesting and fun for the group. The extra trips available especially the boat trip and hot air balloons were well worth doing and good value. The main boat was bigger then I thought, very comfortable and the staff were great. If I had to offer any constructive criticism it was the boat itself was a little tired but I heard it’s getting a revamp in 2024. The food was not the best and mainly a buffet style and would not be great for people with allergies or intolerance. Last tip- bring cash with you as they don’t have facilities for using credit card for paying the extra trips unless you book before hand. Bring US Dollars! Andria Cross

Highlights of Vietnam
We have just returned from Vietnam.This trip was recommended by people we had met on another Travel Department holiday.I can see why.What an experience.Guide Cheung was extremely helpful at helping us navigate this beautiful country and meet its charming people.Nothing was too much trouble.Our taste buds went on holiday too.So many experiences and wonderful memories formed along the way. Just an enjoyable holiday,the hotel was fab and food very good. I loved the swimming pools. Our guide Lisa went above and beyond giving us lots of information and very helpful. We had no problems during our trip and weather was lovely. Just one issue, would be lovely to make tea or coffee in our room but we had no kettle?

Our Tour Guide was fantastic
Our Tour Guide was fantastic. She made every tour interesting with her knowledge and humour. The hotel was beautiful with lovely grounds and pools, easy access to the beach and good food. It made a change for us to have planned activities and not just lay on a beach for a week.

I really had a gorgeous holiday in Cannes and Cote D’azur
I really had a gorgeous holiday. I was on the Cote D’azur for a week. I was based in Cannes. What a wonderful place. Miles of beautiful beach dotted with equally lovely Bars and Restaurants. The sun shone every day between 28–34 degrees. The Hotel was situated perfect for shops restaurants bars cafes etc. it was right beside Rue D’antibes which is The Shopping Street. The Hotel rooms were spotless. Very comfortable bed. A gorgeous outdoor patio for dining and a Swimming Pool. The Guide was so knowledgeable. She brought us to Nice, Antibes , The House of Rothschild so lovely and Antibes with its port and the wonderful old town with Markets and fabulous places to eat . Just beautiful. We also went to Monaco And Monte Carlo. The view on the drive was spectacular. Later in the week we visited the Fragonard factory in Grasse. Grasse is very famous for its perfume so we got a great tour around and had time to purchase lots of Christmas gifts —- yes I’m saying this as I travelled in October. The village itself was all cobble locked and decorated with pink Umbrellas at every corner. Really lovely. We visited St Paul de Vince. This village was truly beautiful. Again cobble locked with some climbing to do but I can tell you well worth it. Many artists lived here I.e Pablo Picasso, Jean Paul Sartre , Yves Montand, Marc Chagall to mention a few. There are so many lovely Art & craft shops etc cafes great restaurants, wonderful views, truly a gorgeous place.

What an amazing two weeks in Vietnam
What an amazing two weeks in Vietnam. Would absolutely recommend this trip. The guides Moon in Hanoi and Cuan in Hoi An were absolutely amazing. They made our trip really special. Only one thing I would remove the floating markets in Can Tho and replace with an extra day in Hanoi or Ha Long Bay. Thanks for an amazing trip !

Service is good .what is not good is the time allowed between flight connections.we had to run and catch a shuttle bus to a different terminal in dubai.they had to hold our flight in both directions.
