My local Toolstation are great
They are nearby and have useful opening hours. Several of the staff have been there a while and so they seem invested in their work and are pleasant and helpful. It's not a massive branch so they cannot stock everything but better than the City Screwfix down the road. TS the bigger company seem OK but sometimes the messaging when I have an order is inconsistent. I worry that they ask for reviews all the time - this comes across as needy and should be reduced.

It's difficult to do reviews when the words don't do justice or you can't express what you want to say due to lack of experience but we will try. Having looked at many products at all the DIY stores, I finally found exactly what I was looking for at Toolstation. Ordered for collection knowing I would pick up next day. I received a text within 10 minutes saying my order was ready for collection 😀.Keen to get on with my project I was at the store just after opening and I was greeted by a very happy sales assistant greeting me with a smile and some pleasant words. All she needed was my name and disappeared out the back to get my stuff.
