Titan Travel is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

Our first Titan trip. The collection from home/return transport worked well, even though we didn't know the transport would be shared. This was not made clear on booking. The Hotel du Lac was clean and functional and not 4* in our opinion. The biggest let down was the food. We made it very clear on the booking, in the pre-trip WhatsApp group and on arrival that we are vegetarians. This appeared alien to the restaurant manager unfortunately. We ate out 3 nights as we couldn't face the pedestrian food. Italy is one of the best cuisines for non meat eaters but sadly Chef appeared to favour frozen veggie patties and tinned vegetables. Yuk. An oddity was having to order dinner at breakfast and always sit in the same place. Never experienced that before anywhere in the world. The Titan tour guide was very scatty and disorganised. She often changed group instructions/meet up points which confused people. Sadly I don't think she had ever been to the region before. She didn't know a great deal and whilst she was Italian, her command of English did not meet our expectations. On arrival at the airport, rather than a general welcome to the region and introduction to the tour, she spent the time reading from a folder telling us how much it costs to buy water at the hotel and on the bus. Each evening she would send a long cut and paste information message on WhatsApp giving details about the next day's trip. It would've been far better to have a knowledgeable guide who knows the area and who can speak about this face-to-face. Not impressed to be honest. On the day trip to Venice, she said on the bus 'well you will all know more about the place than me'?! That just about sums up the trip. She was however, kind and supportive to the elderly single passengers and provided chummy companionship. We weren't looking for that, we expected a first class Tour Manager who added value beyond the basics. We have just booked another trip later this year, a long haul trip to Africa, and we decided against Titan sorry.
I have just spoken to a marvellous man named Chandan, regarding my booking. He was extremely helpful and patient with me and talked my through all the stages to book my seat. I am extremely grateful for his help and his gentle manner.
Lisa was very efficient at booking the holiday we wanted. She promised to ring back with details and she did.

I have recently returned from a week's holiday in Zell am See, Austria. All arrangements worked perfectly from home pick up, overnight hotel, to airport delivery. The driver kindly took me to the Assistance area, and called for a porter for me. The hotel was charming, set on the edge of Zell am See, a small lakeside town most of which is pedestrianised. Hotel staff were helpful and really took the trouble to get to know preferences. My room had a balcony and was large and comfortable. Margaret, our Titan rep, was so well organised and had plenty of local information. She managed to move amongst us, getting to know the whole group. Although I travelled Solo I never felt left out. There were coach trips planned, but I chose to go on only one to Salzburg, sadly arranged for a Sunday when shops were closed. Altogether a 5 star holiday.
I rang Titan customer service today to ask for a email confirmation of my final balance I had paid I spoke to a very helpful customer service agent in the name of Chandan who was absolutely brilliant emailed my receipt dealt with booking our seat's, which I would of struggled to do myself very polite friendly and cheerful acted very professional I think this gentleman is a absolute credit to titan I hope Chandan hard work and effort is recognised by titan Thank you so much Chandan
We had traveled with Titan before when they did the river cruises. We had run out of rivers in Europe so we are trying this The representative was very helpful and not rushed. It could only be improved if our details from the previos trip were automatically uploaded to the new order to speed the process lookung forward now to August 2026
Yet again zero response to an email sent 12 days ago. It takes so long to get a written response from this company. Very poor.
Our tour manage jill was excellent. She kept us all together and cared for us. However saga and titan combined the tour so we were 45 much too big a group. We did have two guides for each excursion but that meant each group was still over 20. The trip went to some great place and we learnt a lot about Sicily. Some hotels and food better than others. Advertised as set meal but with a fish or meat choice. Only at the last hotel was there a choice and we actually had two veg Hence only 4 * not 5*
I'm on the Jewels of Costa Rica tour departing 5th June. This was sold to me as a Titan Travel tour, but every single one of the other guests are retirement age and most of them booked through Saga. I'm sure they're lovely people, but I expected to have someone within twenty years of my age to talk to. If I'd realised it was a Saga holiday I'd have booked something else. I feel mis-sold. To add insult to injury, the second hotel we stayed at is unsuitable. It's a hotel for people to get drunk and party, with loud music booming from the pool. It's not the right choice for a wildlife-focused tour. Good points: the first hotel was fine. The excursions I've been on so far were enjoyable and well-organised. Our tour guide Kenneth is very helpful. ETA: Titan have offered me a £300 cash refund as compensation, which I've accepted.
We booked a hosted tour of southern Spain with Saga (later Titan) and found it good value for money. We visited Albir, Valencia, Murcia, Aguilas, Cartagena, Granada, Salobrena and numerous small but quaint villages. We had our tour guide Karen McGuire (a human dynamo) and several Spanish guides for the important parts of the tours. The tour gave us an opportunity to see parts of Spain we have never been to plus learning about the history of the area and how invaders changed the character of the country over a period of more than 800 years. Commentary on the sites we visited was provided by radio head set – an excellent way to walk and listen to the commentary. Our programme had two free days back to back which we thought was not the best way of arranging things and we were surprised that a visit to the Alhambra Palace was not included, given that we went to Granada. Hotels were variable but all were comfortable and all inclusive with local drinks. Our first hotel in Albir, the Kaktus was definitely the best with interesting food and smart appearance. The second hotel, the Puerto Juan Montiel was OK but not as good as the previous. Our last hotel in Salobrena suffered from being too far out of town and there was nowhere to walk outside the hotel grounds. Food was average, not labelled and not very interesting. Our host, Karen was on hand to sort out any difficulties and frequently gave that little extra which made all the difference. Overall, we had a great time and would certainly book with Saga again.
Just returned from the Captivating Crete holiday and this has been a relaxing break compared to our usual Titan tours. The hotel is in a quiet area about a 15 minute walk into the main town. There are a couple of tavernas and two supermarkets very close to the hotel plus the hotels own shop which is reasonably priced. The room was a standard room and was adequate apart from the very small bathroom, the shower is like a capsule and there wasn't enough room in the bathroom to swing one of the many cats that were on site. The bar facing out to sea was very relaxing, it opens at 18.00 after the adjacent bar on the waters edge closes. The restaurant has a number of tables outside but it's on a first come basis and gets very busy around 7pm, we left dinner until 8pm each night and got an outside table each time. The Maitre'd may look like a mafioso but he is very good and will get you the table you want. The waiting staff are mostly good and helpful but catch them and tip them and they will remember you. The included itinerary and optional trips are all very good and the guides are too. There is enough downtime to enjoy the hotel facilities ie 2 pools, walkways and beach front plus optional spa etc. Just one negative is that while Titan were there a Saga group arrived, on the last two days it appeared that some of the Saga lot turned up on our excursions, this in its self is OK except that we had to endure some idiot in a USA flag headgear that asked lots of pointless questions, made lots of stupid remarks and finished the tour guides sentences for him, this irritating individual was on another tour but appeared to be allowed on our tours, I feel a bit sorry for the Saga tour but why inflict it on a Titan tour, I understand that the two are linked but I book Titan and for good reason and one of them is not to be associated with Saga.
