The gentleman who took my call was very knowledgeable and it was very easy to book the holiday. He answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction and made the holiday booking experience a pleasure.
Our first Titan trip. The collection from home/return transport worked well, even though we didn't know the transport would be shared. This was not made clear on booking. The Hotel du Lac was clean and functional and not 4* in our opinion. The biggest let down was the food. We made it very clear on the booking, in the pre-trip WhatsApp group and on arrival that we are vegetarians. This appeared alien to the restaurant manager unfortunately. We ate out 3 nights as we couldn't face the pedestrian food. Italy is one of the best cuisines for non meat eaters but sadly Chef appeared to favour frozen veggie patties and tinned vegetables. Yuk. An oddity was having to order dinner at breakfast and always sit in the same place. Never experienced that before anywhere in the world. The Titan tour guide was very scatty and disorganised. She often changed group instructions/meet up points which confused people. Sadly I don't think she had ever been to the region before. She didn't know a great deal and whilst she was Italian, her command of English did not meet our expectations. On arrival at the airport, rather than a general welcome to the region and introduction to the tour, she spent the time reading from a folder telling us how much it costs to buy water at the hotel and on the bus. Each evening she would send a long cut and paste information message on WhatsApp giving details about the next day's trip. It would've been far better to have a knowledgeable guide who knows the area and who can speak about this face-to-face. Not impressed to be honest. On the day trip to Venice, she said on the bus 'well you will all know more about the place than me'?! That just about sums up the trip. She was however, kind and supportive to the elderly single passengers and provided chummy companionship. We weren't looking for that, we expected a first class Tour Manager who added value beyond the basics. We have just booked another trip later this year, a long haul trip to Africa, and we decided against Titan sorry.
I have just spoken to a marvellous man named Chandan, regarding my booking. He was extremely helpful and patient with me and talked my through all the stages to book my seat. I am extremely grateful for his help and his gentle manner.

My husband and I went on the Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angles. We were picked up from our home exactly the time frame given to us, the Driver was courteous and the journey was good to Heathrow Unfortunately our flight was cancelled by British Airways we were advised that we would be flying the following day but would have to go to Germany to pick up our flight. It was all a bit confusing, but we managed to deal with Steve the Tour Manager, he was very calm and helpful and advised as best he could us what to do. The hotel was fine but the food which was obviously agreed by British Airways was awful you wouldn’t give it to a dog, there was very little food and it was kept warm with a candle. We couldn’t eat it so we went to the restaurant and ordered from the menu, we are going to try and get a refund for that from BA. Right from the start of the Tour Steve the Tour Manager introduced himself also Joe the driver. They were both very helpful and friendly explaining each day what was going on and what we. needed to do. Steve was very patient helpful, and explained some background information of the place where we were going . Joe was brilliant sorting out our cases each day and chatted to the group when they were getting on and off the coach. The tour on the whole was great but Vegas has changed since we went 15 years ago, The Fremont Street is very loud tacky the way the women are portrayed I feel it is very trashy. Some of the other group said the same. However the rest of the tour was great, we did a lot, saw so much it was tiring sometimes but we enjoyed it. We met some lovely people on the tour which made it even more enjoyable.
Went on the route 66 tour with titan what a tour that was fantastic crowd of people on the tour,especially our tour guide stephen Pritchard and our bus driver joe,would recommend them and titan and the route 66 tour to anyone. John and Julia Tomlin.
Had the best time ever doing the route 66. Steve tour guide and Joe driver made our holiday even better than already was. Nothing was to much trouble for either of them. Great experience would greatly recommend to anyone.
As australians we certainly felt like the fill in’s on this trip! Not once were we told that Titan is well known for its 60+ travellers and as mid forties for us it was terrible! Thank God we had some lovely people on the trip who they themselves were confused as to why we were there!!!! We were not offered transfers in any way, yet all uk people got transfers. Also - our tour guide was uneducated on Sicily, not very well coordinated, there was no welcome on what you class as the “first day” infact there was nothing on that day, because as we later found out all uk people travel together, and they arrived late…on our past tours with other companies, there has always been a welcome dinner and introduction. To say we were left extremely disappointed is an understatement. Won’t ever do another Titan trip - would have appreciated a heads up on age group at time of booking, and also the fact that we aren’t appreciated as much as our UK mates.
The tour around Ireland was superb, the TM Ann was absolutely brilliant and her local knowledge made a great tour even better

Just back from a fabulous holiday, Rockies and Alaska Grand Discovery. As to be expected the scenery was spectacular. The accommodation and food was excellent. Darren, our tour guide was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. Only one small gripe, the day trip to Vancouver Island, it was a long 12 & a half hour day and we only got to spend 1.5 hrs in the gardens and 1.5 hrs in Victoria, which wasn't enough time to explore or see anything. Disappointing really, especially for the price. Overall, another excellent tour by Titan, thanks.
Fantastic holiday from start to finish. Very busy tour, but we were expecting that. Saul, our guide, was great. Very organised, got us everywhere on time and together, even though us ladies kept stopping in the markets! We always knew what was happening and what time we needed to be where. On the whole, the local guides were good but there was just too much information. Peru was amazing. We feel privileged to have been there. Arequipa, Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu, Inti Raymi festival in Cusco, Ollantaytambo, Sacred Valley, Colca Canyon to see the Condors - all spectacular sights. Well put together trip which showed the best parts of Peru. The group we were with were fantastic and helped make the trip memorable. All hotels were of a good standard. Can't wait for our next adventure!
Had the most amazing two weeks on this tour starting in Vancouver and then onto Whistler, Sun Peaks, Jasper, Banff, the rocky mountaineer train and Victoria. I’ve wanted to come to Canada for such a long time and got to see most things on the list! Unfortunately we didn’t get to see Lake Moraine which was somewhere I always wanted to go, not the guides fault he did everything he could to get us there but apparently the bus company didn’t have the pass or something to let us through so I have to admit I was really disappointed about that. But everything else on the tour was superb, all the stops along the way, Peyto was high on my list and that was a surprise as it wasn’t on the itinerary til the day before so I was so happy about that! We also stopped off at various lakes and waterfalls, plenty of stops for snacks/toilet breaks or to stretch your legs. Some days the drives are long but I’m fine with that, the scenery is just breathtaking, everywhere we went there’s always mountains and rivers or something to look at! Our guide Alex Cussins was fantastic he really went out of his way to take care of everyone, he was very knowledgeable and a great sense of humour! He gave us a daily itinerary each day which I found so useful. Also our bus driver Nathan was great too helping people off the bus and helping with all the luggage. He too had a great sense of humour and with the guide they both kept us entertained. If I could give any tips for anyone doing this trip I’d take more money then you think, you will want to do everything especially all the activities, we ended up doing more than we thought! We did rafting, lunch and gondola, Banff gondola and whale watching which wasn’t on the list but Alex arranged for the group. Also extra for eating out etc. It’s a shame breakfast isn’t included at some of the hotels, (which is stated on the website) but even something basic would have been nice. Overall we loved our 2 week adventure. I wish that it wasn’t over! Thank you Alex and thank you Titan
