Very helpful and professional

Thornley Groves were very helpful and professional throughout my stay. All of the team were always happy and quick to provide support, and Michael Richardson was very effective in his role. It was comfortably the best experience I've had with a lettings agent and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Had a viewing for a flat with Kelly McDermott from thornley groves monton branch and was received with all the warmth and friendliness. Kelly is a wonderfully smiling lady and made us feel very comfortable. It was a total pleasure.

Impossible to get ahold of anyone

Impossible to get ahold of anyone. Routinely ignores emails and correspondence regarding the tenancy. I’ve never been able to get in touch with them via phone, it either rings out or is picked up and deliberately disconnected. Slow to respond regarding maintenance issues or general queries. For example, we changed bank and so had to change our standing order. I reached out via email to confirm this with them, I never received so much as a confirmation email from them. Myself and my partner are young professionals in good standing and have never missed a rent payment etc. Seems that as long as you’re paying your rent, they’re more than happy to ignore you and pretend you don’t exist.

BEWARE zero is not low enough!!!

Why is it not possible to rate at zero. With 65 years in business this company are in the worst I have ever had to deal with. Indifferent, just do not care even about the cost to their own client landlords. Never respond to or deal with emails identifying serious issues that affect third party people when their clients properties are causing serious issues. Causing their client landlords additional costs due to non interest in dealing with emergency problems. They do not deal with unsociable behaviour by tenants they have put into client properties. 12 months and still waiting for them to do anything positive now their client is facing a compensation bill off almost another £4000 after the first £1000 bill only a few months ago.Can you as a landlord afford them????
