Just a one night stay.

Stayed there for one night on the 16thJuly 2025. Our air conditioning wasn’t working we call for help with it no one bothered to come. The shower just leaks into the room very bad design and a hazard if you have a disability also the shower sink and toilet are enclosed with glass so a great surface to land on if you slip over due to the water from having a shower. We had mobility issues there is a disabled platform at the entrance. No one bothered to even show us how that works. As we struggled with our walkers up and down the stairs at the entrance. The banging breakfast well I’ll let you decide that for yourself but their banging isn’t exactly my idea of a banging breakfast.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING - AVOID AT ALL COST

I stayed at the Soho Z Hotel for three nights, shelled out £780 for the privilege, and left feeling completely ripped off and exhausted. Where do I begin? The shower ran cold, constantly — no hot water at any time of day. But even that was a treat compared to the unrelenting sound of flushing water and sewage pipes echoing through the walls at all hours of the night. Sleep? Forget it. As if that wasn’t enough, I was “greeted” each morning before 8am by ear-splitting drilling right outside. Thanks for the unsolicited wake-up call. I raised these issues with reception multiple times, and was met with indifference and zero effort to resolve anything. No apology, no action — just blank stares and a clear message that they didn’t care. And as a final insult, there was no room refresh during the entire stay — not once. For £780, I expect at least clean towels and a bed that gets made. This place is a total scam dressed up as boutique. The only thing stylish about the Soho Z Hotel is their talent for overcharging and underdelivering. You couldn’t pay me to come back here

DO NOT GO HERE

DO NOT GO HERE! CRIMINALS! My bed stunk of urine. The shower was freezing cold - no warm water. When I complained the staff not only denied it and did nothing but were rude, unprofessional, lied to me multiple times - literal cowboys. This place should be shut down and its staff change career

Do not stay in the basement

If you want to hear cascades of water from other bathrooms or the rumble of the tube trains stay in room 717 although I imagine all the basement rooms sound like they are flooding. TV did not work either. There was a overhang over the bed so very clostrophobic.

Deceptive charging practices

Deceptive charging practices. Do not eat or drink in the hotels, there add 12.5 charge onto everything which is meant to be discretionary but try to get it back... good luck with that

NEVER AGAIN, SCIM

My experience with ZenHotels. was catastrophic. Due to unacceptable conditions during my stay at the Ramee Guestline Hotel in Qurum, Oman, ZenHotels. advised me to cancel the booking and promised me a refund. But after I made the cancellation, ZenHotels declined. suddenly refused any refund and left me with the costs. This deception and lack of customer service is unacceptable. ZenHotels. is neither reliable nor trustworthy – I will never book here again and strongly advise against it!”

Worst hotel experience ever

Worst hotel experience ever. I thought I’d got a great deal at Z hotel Victoria, only to be given a room in the basement the size of an assisted WC. The room was so small that we couldn’t move around at the same time, the mattress was knackered, there was a bulkhead just 2 ft over one side of the bed with two dirty access hatches, and we had to listen all night to everyone above us’ toilet flushes as they whizzed down the soil pipe and ‘landed’ behind our WC. Also bugs that looked like giant silverfish on the floor. More ‘yearn for home’ than ‘home from home’. When asked how our stay was when checking out I replied ‘not good’ only to receive the reply ‘okay, have a nice day’. They’re lucky I can’t post pics!

The staff were fantastic especially Scott who went above and beyond with his hospitality always welcoming us and very attentive. He went out of his way to give us some lovely cheeses. Our room was spotless and shower was amazing. Was lovely looking at the stars from our bed. Only bug bear would be window doesn’t open. And would have preferred a non glass surround loo! But fantastic location and smelt wonderful throughout

Engages in illegal practices

I was approached on social media by a company that had been hired by Z Hotels to post fake reviews on Google etc. They offered to pay me for each 5 star review I write. This practice is clearly illegal under UK law and violates Google's usage policies. I would never stay in a hotel that needs to illegally hire people to write fake reviews to persuade people to come!

Nightmare booking for disabled access

I booked to stay at the Central London hotel on Fleet Street, in an eventually accessible room that had a ceiling track hoist. I made sure to email a manager to ensure the booking of the room, they sent pictures confirming the ceiling track hoist. About 2 months before our stay, I saw something online that said that hotel no longer had a hoist. Confused, I phoned the hotel and was emailed by a manager who confirmed the room with the hoist was no longer available. I was shocked and angry as they confirmed to me at booking the hoist was there, if I hadn’t saw something online by chance, I would’ve turned up to the hotel after hours of travelling in a wheelchair to a hotel room I couldn’t use, effectively being stranded as that was one of two hotels in London I found that would meet my needs with a hoist. I managed to get a refund but then had to find alternative accommodation closer to the time of my stay meaning it was more expensive/less choice. No regard for disabled bookings.

Wheelchair friendly hotel

Stayed there for 2 nights in an accessible room. Easy access into hotel and lift to room, Room very clean and bed comfortable. The staff were welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. In the evening they offered free cheese and wine there was a good choice of both.Would definitely recommend staying there 10/10

Gloucester place, London

Really friendly staff, made us feel welcome! Upgraded our room for only £20 and everything there was free, drinks, snacks, breakfast. Happy with the room, it was quite small but it did the job and the shower pressure was great!
