We are currently in the process of buying and selling our property with no chain. We are now on month 4 with no indication of how long we have left. From the start the communication has been non existent, we have been spoken to in such a rude manner, given no updates unless we call ourselves in which when we do call we are spoken to like we are stupid. We are have been waiting for enquiries to come back for weeks and even months now & when we call to chase we just get told no updates. They have no urgency and it feels like they want the sale and purchase to fall through. We are extremely stressed from the whole experience and have no trust in the sale and purchase even happening anymore. Avoid at all costs

My buyer was using talbotslaw. After 5 months I have just pulled the deal. The trainee solicitor kept requesting my solicitor to resend documents already supplied, kept making enquiries a second time and even a third time. I felt that their solicitor was never in control of a situation and as such my buyer has gone to great expense and not achieved a succesful outcome after, as I said 5 months. Straight sale, not even a chain involved. At my last attempt to progress this sale the buyers solicitor claimed there were still 9 enquiries outstanding, in fact, they were replied to again 10 days earlier, I saw the mail. Good luck to you.
