This company is shocking

This company is shocking 2 months, no installation, no sorry or anything . In May they said they would connect the first part then a week later they would need someone to be at home for the final install. I booked time off work then they cancelled said no line in sight, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it wasn’t them who fit it but would get back to me. Eventually they said they would send a supervisor out to assess the problem, never heard anymore, I contacted squirrel once again they said the same again and they would find out from ms3 the cable company. Weeks after, many emails later they told us to chat to our neighbours to see if they could span a cable across their yards, so I went round to see them. All said not a problem. I contacted squirrel to let them know, weeks later they gave me another date for installation, once again they never turned up. I contacted squirrel again who didn’t believe me , they then told me to be at home for the final fit. (which I booked time off work) but they never turned up at all . Got no response from squirrel again, we are now mid July so I cancelled it. Had no sorry or anything, they are a joke!!

Very quick installation

So far so good, we had broadband installed 2 weeks ago , the instalation was very quick, the router arrived the day after and was very easy to set up , although we haven't been able to use it thoroughly as we haven't moved in yet , the service seem ok so far .

Time Travel

Superb customer service, answers messenger promptly (Even out of hours). Teething problem issue sorted out without bother. Speeds and latency as promised. Stable, simple, and very flexible solution. Static IP, allow use of own kit and allow own VOIP. Loving the personal service, it's like going back in time, but with fast and reliable Internet. Very highly recommended.

Not the smoothest transition

Easy to order the service. However, had to chase for confirmation of install date. Have had to chase for router delivery even though charged for a service I cannot use. Router delivered 3 days after activation date missing the wifi extender (which I am being charged for). Have set up new Zxyel router and ...wired connection is rapid. Wifi is poor, barely quicker than existing Sky 80mb service, only "fast" when within 2 meters of the router and the range is very very short. Equipment not at the expected standard. Will update review once I have given Squirrel the chance to rectify what has been so far a rather bad experience. Hopefully this is just an anomaly. Edit: After calling again, missing kit arrived and also received guidance on setting my own wireless kit up. Speed good.

Had a slight issue with my router...

Had a slight issue with my router not providing any internet and modem playing up. Messaged squirrel through Facebook messenger and Harrison got everything fixed before the meeting I told them I had. Absolutely top service!

Just gone one to full fibre through…

Just gone one to full fibre through fibre hero's, chose squirrel because of the great reviews. Haven't been dissapointed you get the speeds they advertise, in my case more. Customer service always ready to help. So far well happy

Great experience so far

Smooth process, installation was within a week of ordering, engineers were great and left no mess at all, router arrived the day and services were all ready to go. Immediately getting 3x the speed I was with BT. The standout is that I've had issues with Disney+ which I've seen mentioned before. I reached out to Squirrel on Facebook Messenger tonight at gone 11pm (not expecting a reply until business hours tomorrow) and got the automated reply advising they're open 8am-8pm. Then got a second reply within 2 minutes of my original message explaining that although it's outside of business hours they were happy to help and explained what I needed to do to resolve the issue! Well above the level of service expected and fingers crossed it will continue.

Had a technical issue in my area and…

Had a technical issue in my area and the guys came and sorted it out within 24 hours. Also didn’t charge me the Β£150 fee that I was supposed to be billed for. Really happy!

Fantastic support and Fast service

I signed up with Squirrel the 13th of July and had an install date only days later, on the 24th. The install went ahead with no issues and within an hour the install contractor confirmed the service was live. I needed to reach out for Support the day after, on the 25th, and have to admit that I found it a bit bizarre to receive support via Facebook Messenger, but I can't fault them, it works! I've received rapid and precise help that has focused on my queries with a huge thanks to Daniel and anyone else I've been speaking to over the last few days. This company has clearly found ways to streamline processes and just make things work. They clearly work well with their infrastructure partner FullFibre Ltd (Fibre Heroes) and I'm confident that should I have any problems we'll iron them out without any qualms or quarrels.

Superb service installation on time and efficiently performed, router arrived 24 hrs later easy to set up as well as range extender. BBand speed from 18mbs to 140mbs downloads, uploads and from 8 to 26 uploads....BRILLIANT

Customer service is the difference

Made the order and then wanted to change the deal, Lawrence was the chap I dealt with for customer service and he couldn't have been easier to deal with. He changed over the deal for me in no time. The install is due to take place on the 24th, had a phone call to say that the engineer can attend much sooner on the 19th. There was another provider that was cheaper for this service, now naturally price plays a part but their customer service was horrendous and incredibly slow - and this is at the sign-up stage when they're supposed to be pulling out all the stops, can only imagine what it would have been like once the service was taken out. Moral of the story - price is most certainly not everything and a side note, Squirrel is still cheaper than the other 8 or so providers and they provide a static IP and do not use CGNAT. Will update once the service has been installed and we are live. For now - thank you Lawrence, you're a gent.
