This company is shocking

This company is shocking 2 months, no installation, no sorry or anything . In May they said they would connect the first part then a week later they would need someone to be at home for the final install. I booked time off work then they cancelled said no line in sight, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it wasn’t them who fit it but would get back to me. Eventually they said they would send a supervisor out to assess the problem, never heard anymore, I contacted squirrel once again they said the same again and they would find out from ms3 the cable company. Weeks after, many emails later they told us to chat to our neighbours to see if they could span a cable across their yards, so I went round to see them. All said not a problem. I contacted squirrel to let them know, weeks later they gave me another date for installation, once again they never turned up. I contacted squirrel again who didn’t believe me , they then told me to be at home for the final fit. (which I booked time off work) but they never turned up at all . Got no response from squirrel again, we are now mid July so I cancelled it. Had no sorry or anything, they are a joke!!

Very quick installation

So far so good, we had broadband installed 2 weeks ago , the instalation was very quick, the router arrived the day after and was very easy to set up , although we haven't been able to use it thoroughly as we haven't moved in yet , the service seem ok so far .

Wow wow what a fantastic broadband…

Wow wow what a fantastic broadband company. Super fast Internet. installation was spot on. UK customers service which is outstanding I spoke to Lawrence who was super professional who explained everything I needed to know. I would recommend Squirrel to all my friends and family

Great from start to finish 🀩

I really liked the Squirrel website experience and how easy it was to contact and speak with their customer service team. Anyone I spoke with or emailed was super helpful and very responsive. The guy who came out to install the box (I'm not very tech savvy) was great. Really helpful and super polite. The system was really easy to install and it is great to now have a reliable phone service. I was originally with a very well known provider and have already received considerably better customer service from Squirrel. I would strongly recommend Squirrel Internet for anyone starting from scratch or who are considering switching their provider πŸ˜€

Fantastic customer service!

I’ve been with Squirrel for several months now without issue. This was until yesterday when I needed some support. I called, a real person picked up after 3 rings, we located the problem and the problem was fixed quickly (it was just a failed cable that needed replacing, surprisingly). This is how customer service should be. Thanks squirrel! The person I spoke to was called Harrison. He was awesome!

It has been great service from day one,very smooth transition from another Internet provider to squirrel and they've got very helpful customer service department who make things easy for you to understand.

Best tech support call I've ever had.

Had an issue with my internet, so called tech support and was *immediately* speaking to a human being. I thought I had entered the twilight zone! πŸ˜† I'm so used to going through automated support; "press 1 for this", "press 2 for that", then waiting half an hour to talk to someone - I was caught a little off guard. Even better; I was speaking to a native English speaker, over a clear connection. So no trying to jam my phone down my ear to hear better or having to constantly ask the person on the other end to repeat themselves. Support was also swift and courteous. It turned out the fault was due to a WiFi booster I had bought and no fault of Squirrel. The final positive of the call, was they then recommended I change my ethernet cable as it had a poor throughput so was likely damaged. I've never had support of this caliber before - especially from an internet provider, and I'm paying half of what I did with my previous provider with 5x the *actual* Mbps. The only "negative" I have for Squirrel, is that I wish they had been available in my area sooner.

Great Customer Service, Great Speeds

After a minor miscommunication that delayed the connection by all of 30 minutes, I was overjoyed to see the dreamed high up and down speeds! Great customer service helped the final β€˜switch on’, thank you to the person who dealt with my emails. I say β€œGood” for price, but after researching the Fibre Heroes ISP partners, Squirrel came out top for reliability and customer response time. If you’re in the market, don’t be tempted by the cheaper partners! Edit: 18/03/24 - After paying first direct debit 3 days ago and noticing that they have reduced their price by a third, I contacted Squirrel to oppose the level of their "offer" discount. Poorly constructed counter emails were returned. Heavily dissapointed as the service IS good, shame I feel that I have been 'done' for pricing, certainly will not renew. Removed 'Good Price' from my review title, as I could of saved Β£320 on my contract with them. Edit: In Reply to Squirrel - Your Sales and objectives are not my concern. My concern is that I am paying Β£13 (40%'ish) a month more for a service than a new customer. If this had been 6 months down the line, it's an easier pill to swallow, but it has been 3 days since my first payment. You have still yet to let me know when this offer started. I'm guessing it's since before my first payment. Yes your service and customer service is very good, this allowed me to pay a lot more than the cheapest rival. You are now at the cheapest rival rate, I can surely feel hard done by, and decide not to renew when the time comes?

Sales and Tech support fantastic

Sales & Tech support fantastic. Apart from initial teething problems caused by failure of Gigaclear automatic systems (on a Sunday), I have been very pleased with our switch to Squirrel Broadband. I particularly like the promise of no in-contract price rises and no subsidy to new customers at the expense of loyal customers. I have received rapid and helpful response from all queries from both the sales and technical support services - usually within minutes of emails.

Just want to leave a positive review

Just want to leave a positive review. emailing using my new Wi-Fi. been a great service so far. got the Wi-Fi set up today. engineer came the day before and fitted the connection. router was easy to set up. guide was easy to follow. little bit of an issue getting it to connect but ringing customer services got it sorted quickly. Calling through was a pleasure. I hate ringing large companies and talking to a robot who asks: "in a few words tell me what your issue is today" then directs you to the wrong department. then you wait for 45 minutes to speak to someone. Nope! straight through to someone whom has my issue sorted quickly! helpful and polite. So thanks again, and all the best!

I have nothing but praise

I have nothing but praise for this company, yes the install was delayed due to 3rd party Line installers but it was handled professionally and only delayed by a few days at best. Recommend without a doubt. Got the speeds I signed up for.
