SO Energy has always provided a fair and competitive price for 100% renewable electricity. Their 'green' energy credentials seem totally transparent unlike a few other 'major' suppliers. We are more than happy with the service provided to date.

If you are Deaf or hard of hearing, avoid this company. No awareness whatsoever. Upon joining the company, I experienced an issue requiring me to contact them. Communication could only be via chat, email, or for them to contact me. Chat kept cutting off, or took a very long time to get hold of someone, which was frustrating. When I finally did get hold of someone, I explained that I would need to arrange an interpreter so that I could contact them, but they said it had to be the call-back option only. I tried to explain the time and effort it takes to arrange an interpreter, but they said there was nothing else they could do. I paid an early exit fee on top of other charges for a very poor service.

I just feel that I am in very safe hands with So Energy, the prices offered are fair, the payment scheme is very good with lower bills in the Summer. I am very attentive to my electricity usage and have monthly records of my usage going back over six years. I can normally predict my usage each month to within 1%.However I do not wish to have a smart meter as ,unlike my feelings toward your company, I do not trust the technology. Only using green energy is nice but I have to admit not essential as at the end of the day we Brits produce a mixture and use a mixture. But keep up the good work and I am happy to contract for two years at a price I know I can afford Thank you

So Energy reminded me in good time as my tariff came to an an end and provided clear worked options. I checked other offers - but So were clear favorite in price and service - given my long experience of their tariffs and excellent communications if there was a need to get in touch. Their website and clear monthly update on spend etc are excellent
