I have been fighting with SO energy for 3 years regarding a balls up by them refunding 18 months after I closed my account then re billing me under ofgem they cannot back bill for energy used after 12 months, with over 50 phone calls people who hardly speak English, people who claim i don't know my name I have got no further ahead, now they have started to register it with the credit agency affecting my credit and ability to get a mortgage, I have been asking for 6 weeks for a deadlock letter and keep being told it is being drafted!!! I would rather pay 50% more for energy than deal with this bunch of clowns the last email I had was 6 days ago claiming they whete looking into.it guess what I've heard nothing ,you can't get the email for the CEO they are terrible stay away people UPDATE ... so energy response says it all they have today addressed my deadlock letter after I CALLED THEM !, apparenlky it was sent 5 weeks ago, why have the been telling me for 3 WEEKS its being drafter INCOMPETENCE AND LIES.. further update they told me previously they could not print transcipts today during a phone call (made by me ) they have told me they can print transcripts MORE INCOMPETENCE AND LIES, I also asked to speak to customer service manager and was told " CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGERS WILL NOT SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS!!!" i asked to speak to a complaints handler and was told " they are too busy one will call you back within 48 hours" i hold my breath they have never called back when they have stated ... total cowboys I have been with octopus energy for 3 years what a pleasure it's like night and day I hope you all read the list and take my advice
