We have used Setfords on a number of occasions for selling properties. Anna Nuttall and the team made the whole process very easy. We were updated frequently and any queries we had were swiftly answered. Just a very easy and pleasant process overall.

Been professional throughout and completely transparent. Also, the response times to reply to emails is excellent.
Was initially disappointed that the whole starter pack needed to be printed out, signed and posted back. I did everything in 2 hours, and posted a file an inch thick the same day. Paid £1000 just to open the file. Rang at the end of the following day to check they had received it OK, but it turns out she doesn't work Thursdays. Never received any confirmation of receipt of all of the documents. Rang to check in a week later, turns out she didn't work Tuesday either. Was told that my case was being dropped and they cannot divulge the reasons why. I wonder how long they would have left it if I didn't call up. Still I have no correspondence to say they will no longer act for me. Disappointed that there was no online portal, no acknowledgements or updates and absolutely devastated that I have lost another week and wasted my time with a conveyancer who can't take the job on. I have been told my deposit will be refunded minus their ID check fees, but it's not clear how much I have lost and right now I'm still out of pocket.

Setfords have been exceptional throughout the process of selling our property and worked to a very tight time schedule of 6 weeks. All emails were answered expeditiously and a solicitor who always answers his phone. A process that can be very stressful was made less so by Guy Horsey and his team.

I was recommended to use Elizabeth Philip from Setfords by a friend who had previously used her for numerous house sales/purchases. I was in a predicament where I needed to complete before stamp duty and really needed someone who was on the ball and could get things done! Elizabeth was absolutely fantastic, great communication, quick getting information and really helped to bridge gaps with the other solicitor in the sale. I could not recommend her and Setfords more - the pricing is also competitive and came in slightly cheaper than others with no compromise on service.
