We have used Setfords on a number of occasions for selling properties. Anna Nuttall and the team made the whole process very easy. We were updated frequently and any queries we had were swiftly answered. Just a very easy and pleasant process overall.

Been professional throughout and completely transparent. Also, the response times to reply to emails is excellent.
Was initially disappointed that the whole starter pack needed to be printed out, signed and posted back. I did everything in 2 hours, and posted a file an inch thick the same day. Paid £1000 just to open the file. Rang at the end of the following day to check they had received it OK, but it turns out she doesn't work Thursdays. Never received any confirmation of receipt of all of the documents. Rang to check in a week later, turns out she didn't work Tuesday either. Was told that my case was being dropped and they cannot divulge the reasons why. I wonder how long they would have left it if I didn't call up. Still I have no correspondence to say they will no longer act for me. Disappointed that there was no online portal, no acknowledgements or updates and absolutely devastated that I have lost another week and wasted my time with a conveyancer who can't take the job on. I have been told my deposit will be refunded minus their ID check fees, but it's not clear how much I have lost and right now I'm still out of pocket.

Our Attorney, Michelle, was so professional yet so kind when drawing up paperwork for my elderly mother. She put her completely at her ease and they were laughing and talking like old friends. Michelle came to my mother's home, and on one occasion she even came to the hospital, to take care of the paperwork. It was always a pleasure to see her. She never rushed my mother, who is hard of hearing, and she gave her undivided attention. She explained everything thoroughly and in terms that were understandable. I am so grateful that she was recommended to us.

Any matter in family law can be confusing if you are not educated in that area, my personal situation meant I needed legal advice, guidance and representation. I cannot recommend Kiran enough who answered her phone out of hours, always came back to me in a timely manner and reassured me everything would be prepared in time, despite me calling her days before I needed representation. My journey is not yet over, I will continue to use Kiran who has me and my children’s best interests at heart, she is efficient and professional with a get it done attitude! Very refreshing and reassuring when and something like this is daunting and emotional.
