I have travelled with RSD a few times and have never had a bad experience. An excellent way of seeing a country at an affordable price.
Went to Sri Lanka with RSD - fantastic countryside, amazing friendly people, good hotels and an amazing journey around the country in all its guises - one of the best trips of my life (I travel 10 mths a year) - why so good - people, no hassles of any kind going out, low cost economy, wonderful weather - an absolute gem of a holiday full of variety with something for everyone.
We had a wonderful holiday seeing so many UNESCO sites in Kosova, North Macedonia, Montenegro & Albania. Except for the last one, which was a little bit "Soviet era", the hotels were lovely with excellent food, very comfortable indeed. Our Turkish guide Gdoikca went above & beyond to help all passengers on her coach, even rescuing a hearing aid, which had fallen out in Cafe Mozart in Budva, Montenegro & organising for someone to drive it to our hotel at least 2 hours away so we had it before the coach left next morning.

Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan The trip was an interesting tour of the main sites of Delhi , Agra and Rajasthan, but also included the less well known havelis of Mandawa. The hotels were good quality although the ones in Delhi could have been more central.

Seriously awful behaviour. We have all witnesses, videos and images of everything. The luggage was broken on the bus. The required information was not given by the RSD representative unfortunately when politely requested. I understand they want to sell items to maximise their revenue but I would have appreciated it if the questions were answered thoroughly. I thought bringing up a complaint to RSD would sort of resolve the issue or at least RSD would take it seriously but RSD just sent a template complaint response they perhaps sent to everyone and just fobbed us off. To top it up, RSD sent a response back to the complaint after a month! Had to chase them. I am just in shock. There are good things about RSD but this experience was bad real bad. You learn about the company by how they handle the complaint. Thats when you see the real company and what they actually care about.

RSD organise a very full programme of events and the guide was very friendly and had a lot of local knowledge. The chance to go on the Cappadocia balloon flight was an amazing unforgettable experience. The flight out was a late evening flight which made us tired at the start of the holiday, but that was not a problem. They were very well organised and put us quickly into our coach group.

Easy to book the two week trip with very helpful customer service staff at RSD. The trip itself was amazing from start to finish. The flights on Gulf Air via Bahrain to Delhi were comfortable, left on time and with excellent in cabin service. We were met at Delhi airport by our guide and thereafter were looked after royally by him, his fantastic driver and very helpful assistant throughout our two week stay in India. All the hotels were of a very high 4* plus standard, the food was excellent and the sightseeing trips were all breathtaking, if somewhat exhausting so you need to be relatively fit and healthy to keep going with early starts and late finishes each day, but it is so worth it for what you get to experience. Nothing was too much trouble for the RSD team in India who went above and beyond to make our trip so memorable. I would thoroughly recommend RSD and we have already booked with them to go to South Africa later this year.

Our first trip with RSD travel and would definitely go on another. Returned from the Rhodes /Turkey tour 5th December. Fantastic value for money, we only had the basic package as we prefer to eat at local restaurants and go independently to some places rather than on an organised tour. Having said that the the places we visited in Turkey were fantastic and we would have struggled to cover so many miles in that time. The coaches are very comfortable and safe drivers. Our guide was knowledgeable and quite amusing but a bit harsh and slightly rude at times. The hotels were great all with pools and a couple with spas. The Rodos Palace 5 star was a bit jaded but huge rooms and beautiful gardens. The sea was actually warmer than the supposedly heated indoor pool. Ideally we would have liked more time at the ancient sites and less at the factories. You do get a bit of hassle in the factories but if you stand your ground you can quickly escape to the coffee shop! We didn't particularly get a hard sell to buy extra dining packages just told everywhere would be closed around the hotels but we found places open a short walk away or bus ride. During the touring week you always stopped for lunch and had a choice of a 10 euro meal from a buffet type resteraunt which catered for large coach trips or a place where you could buy a sandwich and snacks eg service station. We were very impressed with the whole set up and cheapness. They delivered everything as advertised

I would advise against doing a two week trip to Croatia and Montenegro with RSD Travel. The first week of travelling around is OK but second week stuck in a second rate hotel in Montenegro is very boring. The outside pool is empty, the indoor pool lacks a changing room, there are no cafes or bookable trips locally outside the hotel, nothing to do in the evenings, not even anywhere nice to sit in the hotel like a lounge. Food is sometimes reheated, dinner finished at 8pm. The TV only has one channel in English, which is just news. I wouldn't recommend a week in such a backwater unless you plan to use it as a base to travel from to explore further afield. It wasn't a place you could relax at in my opinion.
