Right move is set up to sell financial services (like mortgage products) and promote estate agencies that pay for additional promotion. Registration is painful, taking 5 mins to wade through their security protocols

I would give minus stars if possible. Our letting agent uses Rightmove referencing: So the Rightmove rep, Craig called my wife and within 30 seconds insisted on access to her bank account (?!). Then, when she declined and offered the usual payslips and statements, the rep said, "You want this property, get over it and swallow the pill". I have never heard such unprofessional nonsense in my entire life. I am absolutely insensed and who in their right mind would give bank account access to a complete stranger in Ireland??? Who the hell do these people think they are? Does anyone trust 'Rightmove' with their personal financial data, you'd have to be insane.

While the referencing was very prompt and staff very friendly, there are a couple of things that I didn't like. Firstly, once the referencing is complete, I got three reminders to look at the result within 24h even though I had looked at it. I reckon it was just to sell me insurance. Annoying and unnecessary! Secondly, as a self-employed person, I find their referencing form and approach really not commensurate with the reality of someone running a limited company. I talked to two staff members about it but they just referred to their policy. Not their fault, but whoever devised their policy clearly has no idea how self-employment in the UK works.

In my humble opinion, Rightmove is the number 1 site for buying and selling properties. They always have the biggest selection to view online. Usually with plenty of photos and information. The site is very easy to use. I always look at Rightmove before any other property site.

Laura deals with all of insurance renewals really quickly, very efficient. We deal with hundreds of properties and Laura always sends us a reminder when the renewal is due and is very patient when it takes us a long time to deal with them. :)
