I handed over my car expecting a hassle-free service, but what I got was nothing short of a nightmare. πŸ”Ή No proper paperwork or confirmation. πŸ”Ή They didn’t inform the DVLA like they said they would. πŸ”Ή Left me to deal with all the admin myself – risking fines and penalties. πŸ”Ή Had to sort everything on my own just to stay on the right side of the law. What’s meant to be a simple collection turned into a right mess. No communication, no accountability. If you value your time and don’t want the stress, go elsewhere. My old car was removed without me having to take a day off work(as it was a day in the week). After following the email instructions, the job was done, swift & quick & I received the full amount that was quoted.

Terrible service

Terrible service, said the van had no cat and they could take it ,the van definitely does have a cat on it but the driver cudnt be bothered to load it up as it was raining .. update I can't add a picture on here unfortunately, but the driver point blank refused the vehicle , no offer on price ,no parts are missing and it still has mot on it

Excellent

Fantastic company to deal with. Very easy to get a quote (which was significantly better than other providers I approached) The car was collected and payment made all within 24 hours of accepting the quote. Customer services where very helpful and queries responded to promptly. It's so refreshing to deal with a company who do exactly what they say they will do! Will definitely use this service again and recommend to others. Thank you for the excellent service.

Very poor

Very poor. We got quoted Β£320 for my son's car, we wait 8 days and take time off work to wait in just to get told he will only offer us Β£200. Here is what their website says in answer to the question 'do we haggle on collection?': 'No, we like to provide a price that we can stick to! On the quote page, It will state if we can offer you a SCRAP price or possibly a SALVAGE price(if we would class your vehicle as more desirable). The only thing that may affect the SCRAP price is if you have taken parts off the vehicle without telling us. If we offer you a SALVAGE price, please view the criteria the car must meet in order for us to stick to the price. The word 'criteria' will be underlined on the quote page beneath the price, this is a link for you check the criteria. If you send the vehicle to auction and you receive bids, your vehicle will need to meet the auction description you enter in order for us to stick to the auction price. ' This, it turns out, is a lie. Appalled really, it seems the scrap car industry hasn't changed all that much in 20 years. In reply to your reply, reg is RV60 TFO, Quote reference 0ECEBA82

I thought this might have been a con at…

I thought this might have been a con at first but true to their word, they turned up on time. While trying to explain the problem with it, they had it up on the back of their transporter and about 10 minutes later I was waving goodbye. The money was in my bank the next day, no problem. I would definately use them again

Brilliant Service

Honestly can't rate them highly enough. Our car was beyond repair, so we got the quote online. They rang us to arrange collection, we just left the keys with the garage and the money was in our account that day. The amount we got was much more than we were expecting, when we asked the garage they said there was no way the local scrap merchant could match that. Excellent service, nobody wants to have to scrap their car but they made it genuinely easy.
