❌ Avoid Remove My Car – Absolute Shambles 🚗💥 Honestly, steer well clear of Remove My Car. I handed over my car expecting a hassle-free service, but what I got was nothing short of a nightmare. 🔹 No proper paperwork or confirmation. 🔹 They didn’t inform the DVLA like they said they would. 🔹 Left me to deal with all the admin myself – risking fines and penalties. 🔹 Had to sort everything on my own just to stay on the right side of the law. What’s meant to be a simple collection turned into a right mess. No communication, no accountability. If you value your time and don’t want the stress, go elsewhere. This lot are not serious. #RemoveMyCar #CarScrapFail #DVLA #LondonDrivers #BadService #RealReview

Car removal

My old car was removed without me having to take a day off work(as it was a day in the week). After following the email instructions, the job was done, swift & quick & I received the full amount that was quoted.

Absolutely terrible - don’t waste your time

Absolutely terrible. My car has been sat for 3 weeks and I one has turned up to collect. Twice they have given me a date and time and no one has arrived. Tonight, despite me calling them earlier and them confirming someone would be with me between 5-7pm, no one has arrived! Don’t waste your time. Scam of a company! the collection is booked under my partner Mark’s name. Black Honda civic. Reference 89324414 Further edit - I am not happy with the service received although the car has now been collected. This took over 3 weeks and multiple attempts with us having to stay home for people not to turn up. It is a poor service and the fact that you are trying to have my review removed despite the fact you have confirmed it was a genuine experience and I have provided the reference number etc is a complete joke. It beggars belief and it’s clear that your positive reviews are allowed to stay but you will do anything to have negative ones removed to keep your score good. Please avoid this company!!

Confusing quotation system

When I requested a quote I ticked a box on remove my car form that said "non runner" and got a quote. When the breaker contacted me he said that for non runner he would only pay a lower amount than that quoted. As my car was taking up space at my local garage I had no choice. I agree with your recent comment that there is no form on your website, my error. Here are the criteria on your website. To guarantee your 'SALVAGE' quote, your vehicle should meet the following criteria. Free from 'significant' bodywork damage. •The engine and gearbox is mechanically sound but has some minor faults •Has done average miles and not used as a taxi or hired car. •No parts removed from the vehicle •No Outstanding finance / HPI Clear My car engine and gearbox were mechanically sound. The ECU had failed. I believe this meets your criteria as it is an electronic issue, not mechanical.

There was a slight delay about contacting me after agreeing sale, the company were efficient and helpful. Their info, by email, was excellent and I knew exactly what I had to do. Pick up was on time and driver was courteous and helpful.

Collection of my car

I sold my car to scrap off and remove from my home address in Wakefield. The collection was as arranged and on time. The experience was very straight forward and all paperwork done on line. A phone call 30 minutes before collection in the early afternoon was very helpful. In addition my bank account was credited within 24 hours as agreed. Thank you regards David Jones.

Offered a great price for my car. Kept me informed of progress throughout. Person who collected car let me know he was on his way and was on time & very friendly and courteous. Was a stress free procedure throughout. Definitely recommend. Thank you!
