Disappointing quality and customer service

At first glance, Pure Electric seemed like a great product—shiny and well-built when it arrived. However, the quality simply does not last. I’ve had mine for less than 16 months, used it fewer than 10 times (I don’t use it for commuting), and it has already stopped working and won’t charge. Reaching their customer service is even worse. After waiting nearly two months for responses, all they did was asking for more money rather than offering any real solution or proper support. For a premium price, you expect reliability and decent after-sales service—unfortunately, I got neither. Disappointed and would not recommend.

Excellent company

Ordered my husband and my self a pro 4 max electric scooter. Orders it on the Friday. Excellent communication all the way through it being sent out to us. Delivery exceptional. Arrived next day. Well done Pure Electric. Very impressed. Scooters are wicked, def recommend!!! 5 star all the way.

Outstanding customer service

I contacted Pure about a scooter which needed fixing with no details about the purchase during a very difficult time following a bereavement. Customer services could not have been more efficient or kinder. The scooter has been successfully collected, repaired and returned. The team were extremely nice and easy to deal with.

Grate products defo the place to go if…

Grate products defo the place to go if u want high quality for fair prices, customer service was poor they were un attentive and borderline rude in the shop. Apart from that not bad at all.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! I have had nothing but problems with the two E-scooters I bought from this company. They spent more time in their repair shop than at my home, they tried to charge me to fix them even though they were dangerous (and still under warranty), the customer service is shocking and I am still waiting to be refunded even though I gave the second one MONTHS ago! I bought two E-scooters from Pure Electric and within weeks one had problems with the steering column, which was dangerously wobbly and almost impossible to control. I sent it back for repairs but within weeks it was in the same condition - and then the other one developed the same fault. Even though they were hardly used and still under warranty Pure Electric tried to charge me for further repairs and I had to argue that they were so dangerous that I was scared to use them or let my teenage children use them. I sent them both back barely used and asked for a refund and waited ages for one to be paid back into my account and I'm still waiting for the second one - almost two months after I returned it. Every time I ask where my refund is they say there is a 'technical problem' and so now I will have to go to the financial ombudsman to get my money back. Avoid, avoid, avoid - if I could give them NO STARS I would!

I had some issues with my scooter and my queries were answered very quickly. Samantha has been patient with ny questions. My scooter was assessed and resolved quickly. Im impressed with how Pure air team responds to their customer services.

Closed all repair points during my paid…

Closed all repair points during my paid 12 month Service Pack with no refund. I paid for 12 months of being able to take my scooter for a service anytime within 12 months and they shut all the repair stores early 2023. Tried to contact customer service for a refund but they refused. Greedy company with poor customer service and mediocre at best scooters. I regret not going for a random brand instead without all the nanny state 'safety' mechanisms

Closed all repair stations

Awful customer service. Bought a scooter a couple of years ago and it is constantly breaking. It currently needs a new battery but pure has closed down all their service stores in London (doesn't even show that online so wasn't until I travelled to each one after booking appointments that I found out) now I can't call anyone, emails are rarely responded to and the only way to have the scooter serviced is to have it collected in a box I obviously threw out years ago. Customer service is not in touch as mentioned in their response.

Trying to order replacement parts for…

I think my initial review has to be deservedly re-written. Originally it did feel like I had spoken with somebody who just didn’t want to be helpful and I had no idea what I needed to order. However Pure were straight back in touch to help make sure I had the correct parts for an older generation scooter. The website is really easy to use and order parts through - I just had no idea what I was ordering.

The team went over and above. My scooter needed service and some of the parts were not available for more than 2 months so they gave me a brand new scooter as an apology for the wait!
