Review summary
Pure Electric UK has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
At first glance, Pure Electric seemed like a great product—shiny and well-built when it arrived. However, the quality simply does not last. I’ve had mine for less than 16 months, used it fewer than 10 times (I don’t use it for commuting), and it has already stopped working and won’t charge.
Reaching their customer service is even worse. After waiting nearly two months for responses, all they did was asking for more money rather than offering any real solution or proper support.
For a premium price, you expect reliability and decent after-sales service—unfortunately, I got neither. Disappointed and would not recommend.
Ordered my husband and my self a pro 4 max electric scooter. Orders it on the Friday. Excellent communication all the way through it being sent out to us. Delivery exceptional. Arrived next day. Well done Pure Electric. Very impressed. Scooters are wicked, def recommend!!! 5 star all the way.
I contacted Pure about a scooter which needed fixing with no details about the purchase during a very difficult time following a bereavement. Customer services could not have been more efficient or kinder. The scooter has been successfully collected, repaired and returned. The team were extremely nice and easy to deal with.
Needed a new tyre for my sons scooter.
Due to a slash in his tyre.
The item was easy to find on the website and posted out quickly.
My husband said it was easy to fix but needed 2 people.
Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with Pure Electric, and honestly, it left me feeling pretty disappointed. I've been a loyal customer for three years and was excited to upgrade to their new Advance Plus scooter. But let me tell you, it didn't live up to my expectations.
First things first, I received an email about a safety issue with the handlebar of the new scooter. It was good that they let me know, but seriously, how did they miss such a big problem in the first place? They sent me a replacement, hoping it would fix things, but no such luck.
Can you believe it? The replacement scooter had its own issues. The brakes were a mess, making it unsafe to ride and practically useless. And don't even get me started on the battery life. It fell way short of what they promised, which really limited my ability to use the scooter. It felt like they were just sending out scooters without even checking them properly.
To make matters worse, the physical shop I used to rely on had closed down. It used to give me confidence in the brand, but now that trust is shattered. It's frustrating when a company can't ensure the quality of their products or provide proper support.
So, I decided to reach out to Pure Electric's customer support, hoping for a solution. But man, dealing with them was just as frustrating. They insisted on me returning the scooter, even though we never even discussed that. And when they offered a full refund, it felt like they were missing the point. That refund didn't cover the expenses and inconveniences I went through because of their mistakes.
Honestly, based on this disappointing experience, I can't fully recommend Pure Electric as a reliable electric scooter provider. They need to step up their game in terms of quality control and customer support. If they want to win back customers' trust, they have to address these issues seriously.
Just a heads up, this review reflects my personal experience and opinions, and others may have had different experiences.
I ordered the Advance scooter as they finally had some in stock last week and I’m still waiting on a delivery date, I’ve contacted customer service’s twice for info or a refund and nobody has bothered to respond.
Avoid this company at all cost as I’m now £800 out of pocket and no scooter to show for it.😡
I bought scooter for 349£ , 1.5 years ago and now battery discharge very quickly. So now I cannot use it. When I asked them for replacement, they said it's out of warranty, and I need to pay for replacement. The battery cost is 130£ and not sure how much it will cost to replace. When I bought it I expected to last battery for 5 years. If I have to replace battery every 1.5 years, then it's a false economy.
This is my first E scooter and I’m very satisfied with it. The Pure Air3 pro is the best choice for safety and lovely riding. I can only recommended it to others, 🙂 and the delivery is also quick, I would buy it again if I could.
Thank you for Pure Electric! 🙂
