Excellent price, excellent communication arriving on the day and time arranged. Trusted company and would definitely recommend and if I need a courier again I only need to look in one place.

I was really surprised at how painless using this service was. It was my first time, and I would 1000% recommend them to anyone who needs a bespoke courier. The driver who picked up and delivered my mattress was fantastic. Friendly and professional, and the whole service was easy. Only thing I'd suggest improving is making the tracking portal on your website easier to find :)

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided with Porta. I found the website via google and booked a pick up and delivery of my furniture the day before I required it. I was assigned a driver who was then cancelled and assigned another. I wasn't told why the first was cancelled but later found out (after texting him) that he was wrongly assigned the job as I request two people and he was only one. I had booked an 8am-12pm pick up and by 10am hadn't heard from the new driver and couldn't get through. I tried to call the Porta phone number 5 times and each time went through the answer machine. The online chat didn't work and the email service on the website kept showing error messages every time I tried to submit. I finally found the whatsapp message service and was then told that somebody couldn't call me right now because you were "a small team and all in a business meeting right now, but could help via whatsapp". As a primarily service based business you should have a customer service rep available for a call at all times during your available hours. I then managed to get through to the driver and he said he would arrive by 1.15pm - after my slot time. This delayed my planned day and set me back hours. When he turned up it was in a van that was marked for plumbing services. Despite me clearly listing that I was moving a bed, mattress and furniture these men were not experienced in moving this, they didn't lay down any sort of protection for my furniture leaving it in marks and scuffs. Where they were lovely men and did the job, it was done shoddily and I am disappointed by Porta's allocation of helpers. Moving is an extremely stressful process that was only made 10x worse by the above experience with Porta.

Thank you for a brilliant customer service and a big thank you to the driver. He was polite helpful and very patient, he made sure the pick and delivery was carried out professorially. Defiantly will use this carrier again.

Great contact and quick delivery

I had such a great experience. My drivers picked up my eBay purchases, dropped them off and even placed them in the room of my choice. The drivers were friendly and polite. I’m so happy with the service that I received.

I was very distressed to see the two man team was a woman. It’s the same with any an. If you book 2 men it should be two men.

This was by far the most straightforward online booking courier service I have ever used with the most competitive prices; took the usual headache right out of the equation and also a discount for 1st booking! I made my booking at 3pm and my (fragile) item was delivered the next morning before midday. Very helpful team and friendly courier. Will definitely use in future and highly recommend to all. I was well informed of the collection and delivery process from beginning to end. I received a photo to show me how my bed had been carefully stowed inside the van using protective blankets and strapping. The person delivering my furniture even helped carry the bed pieces upstairs. He was very polite and professional. Timings were also very accurate and reliable. Would highly recommend this company!

Terrible service. Super cheerful and lovely on the phone with lots of promises to keep me updated but have had zero updates from them. No communication as to when they would collect (from an eBay seller who was thankfully very flexible and ok about it all) and now they have the item but I don’t know where they are or when they will deliver. They are already over an hour late and are not responding to any texts or calls. Avoid this company! UPDATE: they didn't deliver the item on the arranged day and I heard nothing from them for 2 whole days. They ended up delivering over 48 hours later than the arranged time - this meant we were no longer at the original address so they delivered to an alternative address - as the driver was coming from York this was easier to get to than the original address. So we ended up with the item in the wrong place and had to do the rest of the transfer ourselves.
