Please avoid this company if you can at all costs do not use them. I have been waiting to get an acknowledgement (as the bare minimum) email for more than a month now - let alone an actual update on what they are doing with my case. They are about to create havoc for me in my life which is totally unfair. I’ve had this ongoing situation now for two years. I’ve needed my land registry application expedited, I’ve had to call land registry myself who let me know they are actually waiting to hear back from PLS for over a month now. Why am I doing work that this firm is paid to do??No explanation as to why PLS are not doing anything. Mind you I am a paying customer - this is unbelievable treatment and I hope anybody that works at PLS is not treated as poorly as it treats its own customers. Why am I doing work that this firm is paid to do?? let alone an actual update on what they are doing with my case. which is totally unfair. Avoid.

PLS Solicitors were recommended by my developer to make the process easier, I totally get it as all queries I raised were 100% totally ignored. I raised boundary concerns in an email in addition to other issues and when I got a response my question related to boundaries were deleted from the email chain which I thought was unprofessional as I still had my sent history as proof. I also raised concerns related to finances which were totally ignored and the completion went through. Only positive was the PLS 24/7 portal to upload documents and keep track on progress. If my queries were answered the team would have had 5 stars. 27/06/25 Following my concerns PLS did contact me and addressed all my outstanding queries. As previously mentioned the overall experience and portal is great so am giving the team an updated 5.

5 star plus solictors, I would highly recommend. The whole process was so efficient, all done electronically and speedy. Any queries that arose, they dealt with quickly and went above and beyond to make sure deadlines happened. Kelly and her team worked diligently to turn things around and I will be forever grateful as it can be very stressful when you're in a chain, whenever I am in the market to buy property again, I won't use anyone else. PLS all day long, the best solictors by far.

PLS Solicitors are the absolute worst. They almost made me lose my first home if not for the developer who was very helpful and kind. Mails to PLS takes almost a week to get a very unhelpful response, other times two weeks. The frustration was so much that I cried. I put a call through to try work out a solution, they sound so nice on the phone and after the call, will send another unhelpful email to compound the situation. If I complain to the developer, they will tell him they just need a form from me, meanwhile the eventual email they send asks for several more things that are dependent on other follow ups. There’s so many instances but I don’t want to bore you. After passing all the hurdles, got to say of exchanging contracts, they asked I send the physical deed to them and if they don’t receive, they will refuse to exchange despite asking for and receiving an electronic copy of the deed. That was plain callous. Reply: I have absolutely no problems with any firm carrying out strict checks on source of funds, I was very responsive at all times as my email replies would confirm. The issue is the extremely slow response time used by your team. This one aside, how about requesting for the “physical deed 3 hours to completion time disregarding the fact that I might be at work, not anywhere close to home, let alone getting a courier to deliver same within that timeframe? The same deed that an electronic copy had been sent to your team days prior and they never mentioned that completion would not happen without the physical copy? Honestly if I could rate you a zero, I would be happier.

So I found the process very thorough as you would expect. I’m a first time buyer and have had no experience of solicitors before. I found PLS quick with their responses but was confused from the information they were asking me at times. Overall relieved and happy to have everything sorted.

William’s team helped me and my husband as first-time buyers. Everything was mostly dealt with via email however, they were always available via telephone if I ever needed to call.
