I initially had a frustrating experience with PCS Legal. Communication was very slow, and I had to chase them weekly for updates. Despite promises of call-backs, none ever came, and their online portal was never updated, which added to the stress. I eventually raised a complaint with their client services team, but the response was disappointing—they claimed I had been contact within 72 hours, which was only true because I kept calling them myself. However, things took a turn for the better thanks to Maria Enright and Mia Raj. They were absolutely brilliant and helped push my sale through, even while dealing with a difficult solicitor on the buyer’s side. They were responsive, proactive, and kept me informed every week via email. Their professionalism and dedication made a huge difference. Because of their efforts, I’ve increased my rating from a 1 to a solid 4 stars. If PCS Legal can improve their overall communication and consistency, they have the potential to be truly excellent. I would highly recommend Maria and Mia for anyone going through a property transaction.
Lovely conveyancing experience. Donna is a star!
First of all I would like to thank Donna for always being so helpful and thorough. She fought our corner and fast tracked everything so we can finish the process in time. It has been a lengthy conveyancing process but in the end it was all worth it. Solicitors have been professional and always easy to reach by phone. My only recommendation would be to have less people dealing with one case so e-mails don’t get missed ( 2 max 3 people). Would highly recommend.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!
This company was the recommended conveyancers for the new build development that i was purchasing from. From start to end it was a nightmare dealing with Buckie and the team. I found them very unresponsive and lax about everything. Luckily my mother works in a central London law firm that deals with buying and selling so had lots of real solicitors on hand which I actually would get to confirm any information given to me as these conveyancers couldn’t be bothered to do the bare minimum. I had to triple check all documentation myself and find points that needed to be answered. When you hire a conveyancer they should be working for you to highlight any issues. More recently I have become aware that the conveyancers did not inform me of a service charge increase within the development before I exchanged. I have emailed the team over 2 weeks ago and of course I haven’t got a response!! Just sums up the total disregard for their clients.

PCS legal was the firm that our buyers used. They were very poor at giving information. On the moving day they mislaid the money which meant that we couldn’t move in till the next day. Even better was the fact that they are now trying to charge the buyers for their incompetence

Avoid this company!
Instead of spending time responding to glowing and frankly, questionable five-star reviews, perhaps your firm should prioritise addressing the concerns of your actual clients, many of whom are being subjected to completely unnecessary stress and frustration due to your lack of communication. My relative is currently in the process of purchasing a property. It is a straightforward transaction — no chain, with contracts already signed and returned. Despite this she has been met with silence. Multiple messages and follow-ups have been left, all of which have gone unanswered. She has now had to lodge a complaint, which I expect has a response within 28 days - otherwise the next contact will be with the legal ombudsman. This level of disregard for a paying client is not only unprofessional, but is now having a significant impact on her well-being. The stress and anxiety caused by your inaction is unacceptable. It is deeply disappointing that your firm appears to be prioritising its online image over providing even basic communication and support to those relying on your service. I urge you to address this matter with the urgency and professionalism it deserves.

Difficult Landlord's Solicitor
I was having considerable difficulty in obtaining cooperation with the landlord's solicitor who had made errors. It was a great relief when PCS were able to provide prompt assistance to enable me to resolve this longstanding difficulty.

An utterly frustrating experience
An utterly frustrating experience. I had to chase PCS Legal for all updates throughout the whole ordeal. The lack of communication was, without doubt, the worst I've ever experienced from a 'professional' service. It took well over 7 months to complete on what was a relatively straight forward sale and purchase and it cost a considerable amount in additional stamp duty as PCS Legal failed to complete by 31 March despite requesting this be the hard deadline back in September and throughout the coveyancing process. PCS Legal failed to return phone calls or emails regarding updates. They have an online tool that would be very useful if they actually updated it. On more than one occasion PCS Legal forwarded emails from my buyers solicitors requesting information that had been sent to them several weeks prior. The final straw was being told that a completion date couldn't be fixed as we were waiting for funds from my buyers to be available only to find out there were outstanding queries to be resolved by PCS Legal. My advice is do yourself a favour and pay a little bit more to avoid the additional stress PCS Legal will put you through. Unless of course you enjoy not really knowing how close you are to completion, what's queries are outstanding and with who because unfortunately that's exactly what you'll get from this lot.
