I initially had a frustrating experience with PCS Legal. Communication was very slow, and I had to chase them weekly for updates. Despite promises of call-backs, none ever came, and their online portal was never updated, which added to the stress. I eventually raised a complaint with their client services team, but the response was disappointing—they claimed I had been contact within 72 hours, which was only true because I kept calling them myself. However, things took a turn for the better thanks to Maria Enright and Mia Raj. They were absolutely brilliant and helped push my sale through, even while dealing with a difficult solicitor on the buyer’s side. They were responsive, proactive, and kept me informed every week via email. Their professionalism and dedication made a huge difference. Because of their efforts, I’ve increased my rating from a 1 to a solid 4 stars. If PCS Legal can improve their overall communication and consistency, they have the potential to be truly excellent. I would highly recommend Maria and Mia for anyone going through a property transaction.

Lovely conveyancing experience. Donna is a star!

First of all I would like to thank Donna for always being so helpful and thorough. She fought our corner and fast tracked everything so we can finish the process in time. It has been a lengthy conveyancing process but in the end it was all worth it. Solicitors have been professional and always easy to reach by phone. My only recommendation would be to have less people dealing with one case so e-mails don’t get missed ( 2 max 3 people). Would highly recommend.

Great experience

I just completed the process with Jeanette, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her support. From start to finish, she was incredibly helpful, responsive, and professional. My case was quite complex, and at times, a bit frustrating — especially given how challenging the counterparty was — but Jeanette handled everything with patience and clarity. Her excellent communication and steady guidance made a real difference, and in the end, everything was resolved smoothly. I truly appreciate her dedication and would highly recommend working with her.

After reading several other peoples…

After reading several other peoples reviews it seems communication seems to be the problem with this company. From the very start I had to query the email they sent with no explanation of the system 'MovinMe'. I was told everyone gets an initial phone to explain the process, which we didn't. I'm still going through the process with them on a straight forward sale with first time buyers. Emails seem to be banged out on Fridays with mistakes such as whole PDF files with all pages upside down. Someone obviously scanned them and 'didn't' notice. Reference to Numbered queries that we haven't had, then when queried with them I did receive an apology and could we answer the correct numbered queries, which we already had in a previous email. I wonder if they are taking on too much work for the size of the business

If I could give zero I would what a absolute lie property was purchased on 29 October 2024 it was incorrectly registered and only came to light, because I had actions to do. This company repeatedly

If I could give zero I would. Use them at your own pedal. This company took some 6months to deal with the conveyancing for my property. They told me I had to pay stamp duty as my former marital home had not sold. They then told me a lesser amount I rang and asked was this write yes they said. A week after completion the Conveyancer rang up demanding more money saying the system had generated the wrong amount. Fast forward over 6 months later I apply for a refund of the stamp duty and I find out they submitted the return on the wrong property. Each week I'm being told it's done. This same company put the utrn for my former marital home instead of the new one and then today I've been told I'm confusing the issue ringing HMRC. I've just been told by HMRC I need to send a letter of authority requesting the transfer as it cannot be executed without my authority. Thank PCS legal for nothing. Pcslegal have replied it was registered in 8 days he has forgotten the other 132 days plus as the property was purchased on the 29th October 2024. Their mistake was only by to light by me. They registered the property on the on the incorrect UTRN at Hmrc and when I informed them.what HMRC said they had to do they had the cheek to tell me that I was confusing everything by interfering!!! This is there bread and butter!! I'm.still waiting for my sdt refund. They pontificate that all conveyancing is checking by several people well god help us. I would not have minded if they accepted ownership, but they're trying to make their mistake mine instead of saying sorry and resolving issues.

Thank you for your amazing service!

Amazing service provided by Caroline McCullagh and Sarah Adams on our house sale and house purchase. Our sale was complicated due to our buyers solicitors asking MANY questions and raising MANY enquiries but Caroline was always on hand to offer her advice and communicated with us brilliantly. We honestly do not think our move would have happened with anyone else due to Caroline's patience and perseverance. Honestly can't recommend this team enough! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! You are all amazing and we are settling in to our dream home!

Do not use PCS Legal or you will regret…

Do not use PCS Legal or you will regret it. I instructed them to sell my house in October 2023, and in May 2024 I decided it was enough and changed solicitors. They did not know whether I was buying or selling, provided me with wrong legal information, did not respond to any emails, and even when you manage to speak to them after luckly two weeks, and only after raising a complaint with the complaints department, which are equally useless, they are arrogant, and condescending and don’t know what has been done or where we are at in the proceedings. They are highly incompetent and worse of all they don’t care about their clients. All reviews are saying the same negative things about them and for a reason
