Another two week River Danube cruise booked today with the delightful Catherine Divan. Nothing is too much trouble for this amazing lady, very knowledgeable, very helpful and so kind. Catherine had a quote together for us within minutes and made the booking process so easy, especially when she managed to get us an additional discount which was unexpected and a lovely surprise. A thoroughly professional and friendly service once again provided by Catherine.
As long term customers of Panache, we would not go anywhere else. Jason was extremely friendly, efficient and professional in helping us book our Uniworld river cruise.

July update: Review reduced down to 1 star now. We have another booking with Regent in concierge suite. By chance, I discovered that we should have recieved a pre and post cruise discount at this level of suite which was not offered on post excursion booking. This detail, I would expect to be picked up by a preferred partner TA at the time of the invoice being received and not the guest having to query. When I enquired with panache, an attempt was made to honour this with regent but I was told that regent would not budge. Once again, I had to email regent directly to rectify and a new statement was issued with the suite perk discount. The advocacy on behalf of guests is severely lacking. Furthermore, any Amex holders, there is direct deals with regent and OBC that I wish I knew before this booking that surpass the nil perks of booking with panache. Amex travel are also handling all my pre and post hotel stays with perks so always check them in the first instance would be my recommendation. I’ve had really good service from Georgia and Emily – both have been friendly, professional, and (very) responsive (Georgia) throughout my experience with Panache. However, this is my first and probably final time using a travel agency. I'm feeling a little disappointed by some of the limitations and complications that come with not booking directly. Recognising some of this is out of an agencies control and down to corporation rules, I do feel that advocacy and understanding could be alot better. Recently, I booked and held a cruise myself and transferred it to Panache in the hope it would help with commission or sales targets for the TA only to see the price drop shortly afterwards by over £500, with added onboard benefits. Unfortunately, because I didn’t book directly with Celebrity, they wouldn’t honour a price match. The explanation I was given by Panache, via celebrity, was that rebooking would cost more, but I wasn’t looking to rebook – just to match the price I’d already seen and reserved. I don't feel, based on the correspondence the situation was completely understood and explained that it would cost more to cancel and rebook and OBC was more. I just wanted to price match. I’ve also enquired about hotel stays pre- and post-cruise for another booking to see if there were any added benefits to booking through Panache, but so far I’ve been offered nothing better than what I could find on my own. Overall, aside from earning founder points, I’m struggling to see the added value in booking through Panache. There seem to be limited deals outside of cruise fares, price matches aren’t honoured, and I can't deal directly with the cruise line despite being the one paying – which adds a layer of complexity and delays and told my TA needs to raise queries which makes me feel a hidnerence with multiple emails that I could do independently.
