I wouldn’t recommend this centre in…

I wouldn’t recommend this centre in Stockley Park for families with children or for anyone considering buying a membership for family use. The soft play area has been broken for several months now, and unfortunately, there are no plans to repair it. There are also very few classes available for children, which is quite disappointing. Additionally, facilities like the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi are not accessible to anyone under 16, which limits the experience for families. One of the toilet doors has been broken for a long time and still hasn’t been fixed. The cleanliness of the changing rooms is also not up to standard.

Extremely Disappointed

Extremely Disappointed – Unauthorised Payment After Cancellation I cancelled my membership at Nuffield Health Gym Chigwell and received an official confirmation email stating that my final payment would be on 1st July. Despite this, they still charged my account after the cancellation date. This is completely unacceptable and feels like unauthorised billing. I now have to go through the hassle of disputing the payment and trying to get my money back – even though I have clear written confirmation that my membership had ended. If this is how they handle cancellations, I would strongly advise others to think twice before joining. A gym should be professional and trustworthy, not take money from ex-members without permission. Extremely disappointed with how this has been handled.

Aaron Fowle is my PT and he’s fantastic - I had been coming to this gym for 3 years and love all the classes and the instructors. I switched to PT when zi decided to do hyrox and saw a lot of change in muscular mass and energy levels. Aaron is a real asset to Nuffield and fitness in general 💪

Joint Pain Free Programme

I’ve just completed the first 12 weeks of the Joint Pain Programme at Nuffield and I’m genuinely impressed. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, and the programme has really helped me take control of my health. At a time when I felt my physical health was starting to decline, this proactive approach has made a huge difference—especially as I head into retirement. I’ve learned how to manage flare-ups and improve my strength and flexibility. If only the NHS had the resources to offer something like this! A big thank you to the whole team at Nuffield.

I attend Nuffield Health and Wellbeing…

I attend Nuffield Health and Wellbeing Gym at Romford, having joined as a participant on the Joint Mobility Rehabilitation Programme. I have a number of joint issues and our Rehabilitation Specialist, Adrian Paval has been working wonders, giving individualised, focused attention to each member of the small group. He demonstrates a good understanding of each person’s capabilities according to their ailments and makes adaptations accordingly. He has instilled me with confidence that better health is coming, slowly but surly and makes the classes enjoyable.

Family swim experience at Nuneaton Nuffield

I’ve been visiting Nuneaton gym since 2002 when it was Canon’s. For the second time in a fortnight I’ve left feeling very disappointed. Please don’t offer family swim sessions if it’s something you’re not set up to do, or want to do. One lane open out of 4 lanes for families to use on a first come first served basis leaves members no choice but to join a queue & wait for other swimmers to finish is upsetting for excited kids. Please bring back a booking system, & when greeted with a customer feedback please don’t state the facility is small & nothing can be done when it can!

Nuffield Theatre - St Guys Hospital - Pre and Post operation - Exceptional

Nuffield Theatre - London Guys Hospital Dear All Including any interested in alternative medicine Masters or PHD degrees - Pre and post operation and pre and post anesthesia medicine prior to surgery these websites may provide thought provoking alternative perspectives. Pre and post surgery - I took 1m of Arnica, Phosphorous, Hypericum, Post surgery For the bruise where the needle went - I sprayed ARNICA spray and put Tiger Balm on the bruise. Saline solution for the nose - no bleeding. For the slightly raised temperature postoperative - Phosphorous, Arnica, & Belladonna. I discharged myself - I feel that with all the financial pressures on the NHS - that if one is able to use an Oyster Card to get home part of the way - or all of the way after sufficient rest and a simple meal - then that should be encouraged or an escort should be provided - that can go back with the patient on public transport - thereby saving the NHS money in transport fees. Thank you all in the Nuffield Theatre for the excellent pre-care and after care. Please remember that each member of staff comes to work come rain or shine - and some of them may be experiencing bereavement, work related stress or just the stresses of life..... Please remain mindful and alert.... sometimes these pressures can become so great that the staff smile through their tears.... often if they have experienced or have been experiencing suicidal ideation or depression or any other condition it may only be safely revelaed to therapeutic savvy visitors who are sometimes patients for an hour or so.... I have trained in therapeutics and have been using natural medicine lifelong.... The NHS staff and the NHS itself is under so much pressure... look after one another - and if I have sent you a 'Thank you card' or sent you a 'Thank you message' - it because I generally appreciate you offering me a cancellation appointment. I am not a Jehovah's Witnesses but I have been raised with Islam, Christianity, Jehovah's Witnesses, Rastafarianism etc - all loving natural medicine. I will provide this feedback on your website. 3 Things that assisted my healing journey from the operation 1. Therapeutic relationship and the spiritual relationship in the theatre wing and the qualified staff that work there including the surgeon and his team, the nurses, the support staff and the reception. Exploring the therapeutic relationship in nursing theory and practice 2. Allowing me to listen to jazz music following the operation - Grover Washington Jnr and Joe Sample 3. Allow me to use natural medicine - ARNICA, HYPERICUM & NUX VOMICA pre and post surgery. No need for an escort. No need for any Big Pharmaceutical remedies. Paracetamols are not always good for the stomach and I am better off with ARNICA - it is one of the most powerful pain relievers - lots of athletes use ARNICA - cream, Arnica gel, Arnica tablets, Arnica spray, Arnica Oil. Today I was woken - done the housework and am now lounging - ready to play to EASY RADIO or one the American no adverts Relaxation radio stations, Jazz 93.5 (KCME-HD2) Colorado Springs, CO - Listen Live The other book that I would recommend for Degree, Master, PHD et al - Books by Dr Oliver Sacks.... He has a refreshing unconventional, unorthodox way of looking at neurology. Academia.edu Is an excellent research site - all professionals should keep up with the latest research - sometimes open our hearts and minds up to neuroscience, neurology - without a lot of time to read books etc - TED TALKS are fantastic, Audio books - I will purchase another Daniel Levitin book as Joni Mitchell features after music brought her healing after a stroke. ‘She couldn’t walk, she couldn’t talk’: music therapy helped Joni Mitchell recover from a stroke – could it ward off depression and dementia too? | OurDailyRead One of the things that has aided my recovery always is music - I also compose poetry, I also research and I wfh - hoping to be start back at work 7 days a week - i unfortunately cannot be employed by any government because although i have an enhanced clear DBS - my main role is an an active Eschatologist.... I am an End Times specialist - and I naturally speak about theology - because that is my greatest gift to others. In these times of censorship theology is only valued in a strictly theological circle. I will always look to do self employed work where theology is not an issue.

Outstanding Care and Kindness at…

Outstanding Care and Kindness at Nuffield Health Aberdeen – Thank You, Chelsea I’d like to share my deep appreciation for a member of staff at Nuffield Health Aberdeen. On Wednesday night, after spending some time relaxing in the steam room and pool, I began to feel unwell in the changing room. I experienced sudden chest pain and felt overwhelmed and scared. Thankfully, one of the cleaning staff noticed something wasn’t right and quickly alerted the receptionist, Chelsea. She came to check on me right away and I truly can’t thank her enough for how she handled the situation. Chelsea was incredibly professional, calm, and kind. Her presence alone was reassuring—she stayed with me, brought me water, and made sure I felt as safe and comfortable as possible while we waited for the ambulance. In such a frightening moment, her compassion and care made all the difference. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her support. I’m usually quite honest when it comes to feedback, and in this case, I want to be equally honest about how grateful I am. Chelsea went above and beyond, and it deserves to be recognised. Thank you so much, Chelsea—you truly made a scary moment much easier to face.

Nuffield Newcastle Under Lyme

Had a blood test today at the Nuffield in Newcastle under Lyme. I am notoriously difficult to extract blood from and they needed a lot of blood. An amazing lady called Julie Lees got the vein first time, painlessly and the whole procedure went without a hitch. She kept me distracted chatting pleasantly the whole time. Thank you Julie. :)
