We booked a Rhine River Cruise & Mediterranean ship trip package with My Cruises - June - July 25. As it was our first ship cruise plus a gift for our 10 Wedding Ann, we wanted a smooth,exciting trip. We made many enquiries with MC about getting access to Santuary Club on ship ( adult only area), Cons. advises both verbally & with email that we had this service. Great. Upon getting on ship, NO we didn't & there was no record that MC had checked with Ship. How disappointing for us , nothing could be done at that point. After contacting MC - very slow response. Was a misunderstanding. ! Not at all what the email advised us, So they completely mislead, and fobbed us off. Very poor staff training & attention to detail. BE VERY AWARE of this Company - they definitely aren't the cheapest, & consultants are poor quality . Despite Gabby's best efforts, on four seperate occasions, clicking the PayPal link would not allow me to pay our second instalment. I tried using different browsers and different devices, but none worked. I did check PayPal was operational (several times). Ended up undertaking a money transfer.

The package was advertised as Lisbon to Paris including flights, a cruise with NCL and hotel stays in Paris. Booking advice was that transfers were not included but I assumed that to mean before the start of the cruise and after the hotel stay in Paris. I did not anticipate having to organise our own transport for the more than two hour journey from where the cruise finished to where the hotel stays started. To me that does not make a package. Despite several phone and email contacts to try to get my point across the agents that I have spoken to have been adamant that this part of the journey was a transfer and is therefore not covered. To be honest what with that, assumptions about the cost of changing the flight times and getting an add on to the hotel stay; I have been left with a very negative view of this company. And that is even before I have done the holiday. I just felt the need to post a review so anyone thinking of doing a package really checks out the small print and does some research into what is actually provided and exactly the costs of itinerary changes. Just remember that when you read their Peace of Mind marketing where it says "My Cruises way, to create seamless cruise journeys, with every detail taken care of." - that is not necessarily always the case
