The actual cruise was fantastic, beautiful ship, excellent food and great service from friendly staff. Getting to the ship, and getting home was a nightmare, as MSC left 13 of us from the Manchester flight at Barcelona port. The flight home was cancelled and had to arrange our own hotel and transfer even though we had booked a package with MSC.

❤️Stayed on the MSC World Europa❤️ in the yacht club duplex suite. Butler service was beyond superb. Subash (our Butler) and Levito (his assistant) are wonderful people. They are so dedicated and professional. Nothing was any trouble at all. We have never had service like this before, and they both made our holiday truly sensational. We cannot thank them enough. We wish you all the very best Subash and Levito! Everything about this one week holiday was sensational. The food, alcoholic cocktails, waiters/waitresses, bars, restaurants, live shows, and the whole feel/experience of the ship is truly remarkable. The MSC WE went way beyond our expectations. It was a bit pricey, but this was my partners 60th birthday present…so all worth it! We would highly recommend MSC to anyone…if we had enough savings, then we would book another MSC trip in a heart beat…we have unforgettable wonderful memories ❤️

MSC Seaside - A mixed bag of Highs and Lows
I recently cruised aboard MSC Seaside, and while there were some memorable highlights, the experience was also marked by a few major frustrations—especially around logistics and crowding. The Good Let’s start with what MSC got right: the main aurea dining room staff were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, efficient, and always ready to accommodate, they really elevated the dining experience. The service here felt personal and polished—definitely one of the high points of the trip. The ship itself is older but nice, and plenty of space in aurea sundeck to relax and unwind. There were some lovely moments enjoying the sea views and warm weather. The Not-So-Good Unfortunately, there were several areas that left a lot to be desired: Naples Airport Arrival = Chaos: The embarkation process, particularly coming through Naples Airport, was disorganized and chaotic. Long waits, unclear instructions, and poor crowd control made for a very stressful start to what should have been a relaxing vacation. Buffet Madness: The buffet was consistently overcrowded and hectic. Finding a table was a challenge at almost any time of day, and the atmosphere felt more like a busy food court than a peaceful dining area. This really detracted from the overall enjoyment, especially when compared to other cruise lines that manage traffic flow more smoothly. Final Thoughts MSC Seaside has potential, and the main dining room aurea service was top-tier. But the chaotic embarkation, disembarkation made the overall experience feel more stressful than it should have. If MSC can improve crowd management and streamline their logistics, the cruise would be far more enjoyable.

Fantastic
This is our 2nd time on the MSC Virtuosa, and we are already hoping to plan a 3rd. The staff are all amazing, They could not accommodate my family and I enough. The ship was spotless clean and the entertainment was great. My only complaint is that i wish i'd booked more than one week. Commitments and family couldn't make this possible on this occasion.
