Overall very good
We had a lovely time on MSC Virtuosa, despite some negative reviews, it’s a lovely ship, clean and modern and hard working pleasant staff. It’s passenger capacity is large so yes you can expect some rude folk who can’t possible wait in a queue for all of 30seconds to get an slice of pizza or 5mine to get a drink and of course the sun bed hoggers and those who must have the same seat each day but we had a great time. We found the food overall very good and lots of variety. Yes there were some nights in the MDR it was a bit bland and boring and also repetitive. Speciality restaurants all very good and great value for money. Drinks package is great. Embarkation and debarkation flawless. The ship shuttles are expensive and for places like Valencia you have no option to use. We are happy to walk a few miles but there may be some passengers who can’t. We upgraded to Aurea and found it to be worthwhile, purely just not to have to go to the MDR, access to the thermal spa area was an added bonus. Loved my morning swim, even on the chilly days. The buffet is busy at peak times but it’s mirror image each side and if you go to the back it’s far calmer and plenty tables. Go with an open mind and you’ll have a lovely time.

Had a fabulous week
Had a fabulous week, super relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and some great entertainment. The buffet was reasonable but compared to other cruise lines lacks variety. The ship is easy to navigate and deck 6 is a lovely place to sit and meet new friends

From start to finish the ease and welcome was excellent . This was our 1st cruise and l will not be our last . The cabin was clean and comfortable. All the team we polite and friendly throughout.

Too many passengers
Too many passengers, queues tedious. Unable to book theatres, speciality dining, find tables to sit at. Shame as it’s a lovely ship, staff friendly, very clean, food superb. If you don’t mind queuing for everything then you will enjoy the experience.

We have recently taken our first summer…
We have recently taken our first summer cruise with MSC and had an amazing time. The staff were amazing and always on hand to assist. There is always something going on to suit all and although we anticipated queues and Sunbed hoggers ( which there were of course!) this did not inhibit our time spent on the Virtuosa. The cruise company is our favourite and we hope to continue building voyager points for great cruise deals! ( another plus!) There is not one thing we could complain about attributed to the ship or service, sadly the only negative was some of the people and the mentality of entitlement although the staff seem to manage these issues with grace too! Thanks for an amazing cruise to celebrate our anniversary :) Will see you again!

Bad disembarkation from Eavesway Coach…
Bad disembarkation from Eavesway Coach we had to take our own cases to the ship. No vodka in any restaurant at mealtime. The late night midnight - 3.00 Attic bar entertainment/disco was just full of kids some as young as 6/7 with no supervision there was drink all over dance floor. The following day we spoke to a lady who had tried to have a dance slipped on the wet floor and ended up with a wrist cast as nearly broken. When disembarking no time allotted for meeting Eavesway coach and reception had never heard of Eavesway or Intercruise.....unbelievable!! We had to wait nearly an hour in 30 degrees temperature for other passengers and some people had already arrived at the coach 30 mins earlier.
