Also je twijfelt over het boeken vandit hotel, do het dan vooral niet! Personeel is onaardig en onbehulpzaam, vanaf het moment van inchecken tot uitchecken is iedereen chagrijnig l, helpen ze je niet en zoiets als klantvriendelijkheid bestaat binnen dit hotel niet. Het krijgen van een antwoord op elke simpele of moeilijke vraag is moeilijker dan een kruisverhoor. Je wordt ofwel doelloos aangestaard of krijgt het antwoord weet ik niet. Als je vriendelijkheid of behulpzaamheid van de medewerkers verwacht zou ik het elders bij een ander hotel zoeken, in dit hotel hebben ze daar nog niet van gehoord. Muv: Jannice de agua gym docent, Yodi de buggybestuurder en het meisje met krullen aan de poolbar. Die drie zijn de enige goede medewerkers. Daarnaast zijn ze overal understaffed en zijn er altijd lange rijen. Vaak houdt het personeel een praatje met elkaar ipv jou te helpen. Het hotel is zeker geen 5 sterren waard. Het concept kruisbesmetting is dit hotel onbekend. Alles (vlees, vis, groenten) wordt op dezelfde bakplaat gebakken. Op mijn braag of de pasta vegetarisch is kreeg ik letterlijk het antwoord; “ja, het is vegetarisch er zit alleen bacon in”. Het buffet is elke dag min of meer hetzelfde. De salades en gesneden fruit zijn niet vers.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – Mis-sold, Unsafe, and Completely Deceptive We booked this holiday expecting a five-star, ultra-exclusive, all-inclusive escape as sold by Mitsi. What we arrived to was genuinely one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. We left after six nights of a planned 14-night stay — and even that felt too long. This place is not even close to five-star. In fact, I’d struggle to call it three-star. The level of neglect, filth, and misrepresentation is astounding. What you need to know: ZERO RESOLUTION FROM MANAGEMENT Firstly, we spoke to management — but no solution or rectification was made. We were offered the completely useless suggestion of “speaking to the chef”, with the ridiculous suggestion he would cook for us separately - if you saw the “buffet” you’d know how ridiculous this is! We were also promised beach towels would be delivered to our room, which never materialised we didn’t check out until 24 hours later: It felt like they were just trying to pacify complaints without any intention of actually resolving anything. FILTHY & UNHYGIENIC: Pools covered in algae, filthy cushions, and communal areas that haven’t been deep-cleaned in what feels like years. Flies constantly swarm the buffet food, which is left uncovered. Dining tables go uncleared or when they are a school canteen trolley trundled around scrapping plates at tables — genuinely disgusting. The room staff do their best to keep the old tired 80s room clean but leave bags off rubbish and laundry at the door to every apartment “block” FOOD IS INEDIBLE: Easily the worst food I’ve ever experienced at any hotel — let alone one calling itself “luxury.” • Raw baked beans served to my daughter. • A burnt omelette (there was fire as he cooked and I’ve never seen so much oil used. that tasted of smoke and nothing else. • Prawns with black bits looked badand completely inedible (in their al a carte restaurant) • The only passable food was pizza at the beach bar. I could go on but what’s the point!! I’m 21 weeks pregnant and ended up skipping meals out of concern for my health. My four-year-old daughter lived on fruit and cucumber, there was no child’s buffet as you would expect from — not ideal on what’s meant to be a relaxing family holiday. the buffet restaurant is like something from 70s it’s hideous! DRINKS ARE A JOKE: Low-quality, non- branded watered-down spirits served in old gross plastic cups. No drink service to sunbeds — unlike every other five-star resort I’ve stayed at. You have to queue at the pool bar every time for 20 mins , and even then, the drinks are undrinkable. TOWEL CHAOS & SUNBED MADNESS For beach and pool towels you’re told to trek to the beach to collect them, only to be told there are none left every afternoon we went. We were promised towels would be brought to the room — they never arrived! we had a whole last day they could have been delivered (promised at lunch time and we didn’t check out to the following day at 2pm) . As for sunbeds? You need to be up at 7am latest to claim one. People lay towels down and disappear for hours, and staff do nothing to manage it. SEWAGE SMELLS & DATED DECOR: The smell of sewage hits you in several parts of the resort. The interiors look like a tired, gloomy from the 1980s - with the exception of the al a carte restaurant. Absolutely nothing “luxury” about it. UNTRAINED & DISENGAGED STAFF: Aside from one lovely staff member in the al a carte restaurant (Giorges), staff were either cold, indifferent or actively rude. Service is sloppy and inconsistent. We also had a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on our door — and staff entered anyway. A total violation of privacy. ACCOMMODATION MIS-SOLD: We booked a sea-view bungalow and were put in a standard apartment block overlooking air-con units. What we got looked nothing like the booking images.the hotel have said that’s the accommodation well someone should explain to them going up stairs does not a bungalow make. This hotel is deleting bad reviews.They have had mine deleted from Trip advisor - it explains the suspicious number of glowing five-star reviews. Don’t be fooled — the reality is nothing like what’s being portrayed online. The fact that they are selling this as a premium experience is frankly outrageous. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. It is mis-sold, mismanaged, and misleading on every front. I am now in another hotel and loving it- I will review that after the week here!

Very disappointing

Very disappointing – Not worth the money, not true Mitsis standard We are a family of two adults and two children who booked a 14-night stay at the Mitsis Hotel from July 3rd to July 17th. We chose this hotel specifically because we wanted a comfortable stay with a private pool. We paid around €10,000 just for the hotel, excluding flights, so we expected high standards. When we arrived, everything seemed fine. We were told to wait for our room and were given black wristbands that were supposed to indicate we were “VIP guests.” However, this VIP status means absolutely nothing here – we haven’t experienced any benefits from it at all, and there seems to be no point in even having it. Once we got to our room, we were deeply disappointed. It was nothing like the pictures – much smaller, barely enough space to move around the bed. It did not match what we were sold online. We immediately raised the issue via email and at the reception. We were promised they would “look into it within a few days,” but nothing happened. When we followed up, the staff couldn’t even remember us and referred us back to email – which we still haven’t received a reply to. The food is disappointing and limited in variety. Our children struggled to find anything they wanted to eat, so we had to dine outside the hotel most evenings. The à la carte restaurants on-site are fully booked – we’ve now been here for over a week and still haven’t been able to get a table. Service is generally poor. Only 2–3 staff members have been friendly – the rest seem indifferent or even annoyed. The minibar is only restocked every second day, and you only receive one bottle of wine upon arrival, which is laughable given the cost of the stay. We also weren’t allowed to get a bottle of water when leaving the hotel for a drive. We have stayed at three other Mitsis hotels, and none of them were like this. This one feels like a 3-star hotel trying to act like a 5-star, and it’s absolutely not worth the money. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone with even moderate expectations. It has been a major disappointment and has taken away from what was supposed to be a relaxing and luxurious family holiday. After posting this review, I was contacted by the hotel’s general manager. He explained that this Mitsis property is not part of the “Selected” line, which is why the standard here is different from what we’ve previously experienced at other Mitsis hotels. He kindly offered to help us book the à la carte restaurants for the rest of our stay, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, he couldn’t offer a larger or renovated room as there were none available. He also apologized for the unhelpful attitude we experienced at reception and said he would address it internally. The hotel is in a beautiful location with a lovely view – it’s just a shame that we couldn’t get help earlier and had to post a negative review to be taken seriously.

Mitsis Bali Paradise

Mitsis Bali Paradise, Bali, Kreta: Personale i reception, bar og på restaurant er helt i top. De er hjælpsomme og søde. Menuen er varieret og af god kvalitet - og restauranten er ren og pæn, hele tiden. Der er ofte for lang ventetid/kø, til baren og der er alt for få solsenge i poolområdet. De franske guider er forholdsvis uudholdelige - og gør poolområdet svært at nyde. De larmer, råber, synger, spiller musik med tung bas, afholder spontane karaoke-koncerter med dem selv i centrum - og mangler tydeligvis helt basale manerer samt dannelse. Ganske belastende.

Mitsis Selection Alila - RHODES - Great Holiday

We enjoyed every day of our stay. The hotel staff was very good & food choices were excellent. Having all the A la carte restaurants choices to eat in our stay was a good touch. We had choices of Crepes, Waffles. Stir fry & Mexican food throughout the day. We had a wonderful time & would surely visit it again if going to Rhodes Islands or may use Mitsis Selection hotels if available in another country. There was entertainment every evening for guests. Shall surely recommend the stay at this hotel.

Great staff great location great…

Great staff great location great facilities. But can I ask if anyone else got food poisoning July 23 ? Our boys were so Ill and ended up In hospital. The hotel acknowledged it but our tour company went to them recently and they have denied it said we must have eaten somewhere else. We didn’t we were on a 5 star all inclusive holiday to eat all our meals there. Did anyone else get ill at the Mitsis Faliraki summer 23

Mitsis - Unverschämt, Preise ohne Ende....!

Hallo, an alle die Mitsis Rinela Beach Resort & Spa Kreta buchen.... Sicher denkt Ihr der Preis ist zwar teuer aber überall steigen die Preise.... Hier meine Hitsorie zum Kehraus Herbst 2019, 2020, 2021 und jetzt 2024 - Preisvergleich 1.517,00 108,36 1.802,00 112,63 1.832,00 114,50 3.096,00 193,50 jeweils bei gleicher (oder mittlerweiler schlechterer) Leistung und gebuchten 8 Tagen! Eine unverschämte Preissteigerung, die sich durch kaum irgendetwas zu rechtfertigen lässt! Ich blockiere und buche woanders!

Falsk markedsføring (Besøgt 28/06/2022)

Mitsis Blue Domes "5-star Resort" er svindel og et løbende fupnummer. Hjemmesiden og billederne signalerer tydeligt 5-stjernet madkvalitet. Hjemmesiden har en stor overskrift, der siger "fin spisning" med masser af smukke billeder af lækker mad nedenunder. Denne mad er på ingen måde i nærheden af den ulækre slum, du møder på hotellet. Denne mad er langt den værste, jeg nogensinde har oplevet på et 3- eller 2-stjernet hotel. Det er værre end fængselsmad. Det er så dårligt, at du tror, personalet gør en indsats for at gøre det dårligt. Deres hovedbuffetrestaurant er super overfyldt, og der er fulde, tykke britiske turister overalt. Held og lykke med at finde rene tallerkener og bestik også. Der er mindst en 50/50 chance for, at din tallerken enten er beskidt eller våd. De gør simpelthen ikke et godt nok job med rengøring, og de tørrer eller opvarmer dem ikke engang bagefter. Jeg måtte gå rundt om den buffet mindst 4 eller 5 gange, indtil jeg fandt noget, der syntes værd at spise. Jeg fandt noget tortellini, som var super rå og revnede, da jeg tyggede på det! Næste morgen så vi en fugl spise brød fra morgenbuffeten, ingen af personalet bekymrede sig om det. Hotellet har også 4 à la carte-restauranter, men de er umulige at reservere, og du skal booke 4 uger i forvejen for at få en chance og ingen sidder nogensinde ved dem, når man så går forbi dem? Vi prøvede også deres elendige hele dagen-restauranter. Sushi-restauranten serverede mig den mest modbydelige undskyldning for spiselig mad, jeg nogensinde har smagt i mit liv. Det var en bunke risruller, der var moset sammen med agurk?? Én af rullerne indeholdt RØGET laks. Og en anden rulle havde rådden/tør surimi i den. Måden, jeg fandt ud af, at surimien var dårlig på, var, fordi de serverede os en salat baseret på den. Og det var bogstaveligt talt som en skumfidus eller flamingoplast. Helt ulækkert. Det må have ligget og tørret i solen. Vi så fluer cirkulere omkring ingredienserne i den unge medarbejders køkken. Personalet er unge arbejdere, hotellet ansætter fra Slovenien, Rumænien og lignende, så de kan spare penge. Hele faciliteten er kun etableret med ét mål for øje. Fyld hotellet op med så mange gæster som muligt og spar på alt andet end udseendet. Det var en turistfabrik. Endeløse rækker af bungalows og hotelapartments. Det er ikke underligt, at der er så mange køer rundt om restauranterne? Vi så endda en pige, der så ud som om hun var 14 år, iført en køkkenuniform, der tog en rygepause!! Det er vanvittigt! Deres hjemmeside har store overskrifter med "fin spisning", de siger, de er et 5-stjernet hotel. Men deres service og MAD er slet ikke på 2-stjernet niveau?!! Vi bookede 14 dage i gode forhåbninger ud fra deres hjemmeside og anmeldelser, men vi endte med at forlade en uge tidligere. Vi formåede at få refusion for den anden uge, fordi vi fortalte dem, at vi anmeldte dem til Expedia for falsk markedsføring, ellers tror jeg ikke, det ville være sket. Som en undskyldning tilbød de os endda pladser, der magisk blev tilgængelige på deres overbookede à la carte-restauranter?? Konklusionen er, GÅ IKKE TIL DETTE HOTEL, det er det værste feriemareridt, jeg nogensinde har oplevet. Du vil blive skuffet uanset hvad. Hvis du ikke bekymrer dig om mad, kan jeg fortælle dig, at værelserne også er dårlige. Du hører alt, hvad dine naboer taler om, og de "private pools" er ikke skyllet og fyldt med snavs og cigaretter. Mange af lysene i vores værelse virkede heller ikke. (Btw, vi overlevede kun den uge, fordi vi lejede en bil for at få mad i byerne uden for hotellet, hvilket heller ikke var fantastisk, men i det mindste spiseligt).

Not all great

Me and my familie stayed at Mitsis Rinela Beach at Crete in October. The hotel and facilities were amazing, the only thing that really brought down our experience was the staff. Never in my life have I ever experience that tired and at times rude staff. Lady in breakfast made eyes at us when asking for eggs at her egg-station, waiter at restaurant complained of us not having finished our bread-basket. They were just overall tired of tourist and level of service was low. It really made our stay less great, unfortunately. I do not often give reviews, but this time I feel I need to for Mitsis to improve their service to others.

Great experience at mitsis blue domes…

Great experience at mitsis blue domes in Koz. Housing keeping was awesome as were most of the staff in the restaurant. May I give extra thanks to Taxichris in the main restaurant and Alex on the poolside cocktail bar as they stood out above all for being so welcoming, helpful and effecient. Thank you 🙏🏽

Viel tegen. Hooguit 3 sterren!

In augustus ‘23 een week bij Mitsis Norida Beach Resort (Kos) geweest. Het viel ons een beetje tegen. Geen vijf sterren waard. Hooguit drie sterren. Kamers waren sterk verouderd en hadden veel mankementen (kozijn lag los, kussens stoelen waren weg, overal mieren, etc.). Bijkomend nadeel was dat ons huisje het verst verwijderd was van het hotel. Elke dag meerdere keren de heuvel op en af was erg zwaar en vermoeiend. Het eten (buffet) was matig tot redelijk. In de a-la-cart restaurants was nooit plek (weken vooraf al vol met reserveringen). Het zwembad was prima. Wel was het water de eerste dagen verschrikkelijk koud. En de laatste dagen liepen er ineens overijverige zwembadmeesters rond. Zelfs op het rand van zwembad zitten mocht ineens niet meer.

Mitsis Rodos Maris

The reception staff were awful. It’s a big hotel, with hundreds of guests, and you just get treated like you’re in their way. The hotel is billed as 5 star, I wouldn’t give it 3, it’s under average. The rooms are tired, bathrooms desperately in need of renovation, and not serviced properly. On a fair note, some of the guests don’t help, as the road to breakfast in the morning was littered with the night befores drinks bottles/glasses/. The staff in the dining room were end of season plain bad tempered. One waiter just about broke my glass with the wine bottle, purely because I dared to ask for another glass of wine. As for a second coffee in the morning, no chance. The staff are well versed at pretending not to notice you. I’m 5’10” tall - how could the waitress not see me every time her gaze came my way? I would seriously recommend to anyone reading this, to look further on the internet for another hotel, don’t set yourself up the the disappointment we experienced.

Dejligt hotel med fantastisk beliggenhed

Dejlig beliggenhed (Mitsis Grand Hotel) god service overalt på hotellet. Meget lækker mad især på de små restauranter. Dejlig altan med flot udsigt. Begge pools var med havvand og ikke fyldt med klor. Rent overalt og håndklædeservice fungerede godt - det var nemt da det foregik på værelset. Vi kommer igen…

Hospitality of staff

Mitis Rodeos village spa hotel. Hospitality of staff During our stay we had to ask to have coffee and very rarely would the staff offer more. We would ask for juice. One of the waitress was very rude and said we have to wait and can not help our self to drinks. Bearing in mind that we paid for all inclusive but had to wait to be served tea and coffee, and was not able to access this ourselves. Al carte restaurant were all booked up, In 10 days we only managed to get one booking. Pool cleanliness, jetting machine was being used whilst guest were resting after their breakfast. T&c stated pool opened at 8am, this was not the case there was staff cleaning the pool and jet washing where people were sitting on their sunloungers. Beach bar, inappropriate music being played, obsenatities being blasted out full volume in front children. Drinks served in paper cups, and cocktails were not presented in any way at all in the day only in paper cups. Glasses were use during evening, but presatation was bland. Apartment we booked superior bungalows and highlighted this to the manager who said we need to take this up with our agent. We found out from staff the hotel had over booked 50 apartments and some guests had to stay in other hotels around the area. The only good experience was fridge was filled with plenty of drinks Pool bar waiter, julious, a very experienced man who was very welcoming towards guests and would take time to chat. Towel changing avaliablity everyday by the pool was a good service.
