Also je twijfelt over het boeken vandit hotel, do het dan vooral niet! Personeel is onaardig en onbehulpzaam, vanaf het moment van inchecken tot uitchecken is iedereen chagrijnig l, helpen ze je niet en zoiets als klantvriendelijkheid bestaat binnen dit hotel niet. Het krijgen van een antwoord op elke simpele of moeilijke vraag is moeilijker dan een kruisverhoor. Je wordt ofwel doelloos aangestaard of krijgt het antwoord weet ik niet. Als je vriendelijkheid of behulpzaamheid van de medewerkers verwacht zou ik het elders bij een ander hotel zoeken, in dit hotel hebben ze daar nog niet van gehoord. Muv: Jannice de agua gym docent, Yodi de buggybestuurder en het meisje met krullen aan de poolbar. Die drie zijn de enige goede medewerkers. Daarnaast zijn ze overal understaffed en zijn er altijd lange rijen. Vaak houdt het personeel een praatje met elkaar ipv jou te helpen. Het hotel is zeker geen 5 sterren waard. Het concept kruisbesmetting is dit hotel onbekend. Alles (vlees, vis, groenten) wordt op dezelfde bakplaat gebakken. Op mijn braag of de pasta vegetarisch is kreeg ik letterlijk het antwoord; “ja, het is vegetarisch er zit alleen bacon in”. Het buffet is elke dag min of meer hetzelfde. De salades en gesneden fruit zijn niet vers.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – Mis-sold, Unsafe, and Completely Deceptive We booked this holiday expecting a five-star, ultra-exclusive, all-inclusive escape as sold by Mitsi. What we arrived to was genuinely one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. We left after six nights of a planned 14-night stay — and even that felt too long. This place is not even close to five-star. In fact, I’d struggle to call it three-star. The level of neglect, filth, and misrepresentation is astounding. What you need to know: ZERO RESOLUTION FROM MANAGEMENT Firstly, we spoke to management — but no solution or rectification was made. We were offered the completely useless suggestion of “speaking to the chef”, with the ridiculous suggestion he would cook for us separately - if you saw the “buffet” you’d know how ridiculous this is! We were also promised beach towels would be delivered to our room, which never materialised we didn’t check out until 24 hours later: It felt like they were just trying to pacify complaints without any intention of actually resolving anything. FILTHY & UNHYGIENIC: Pools covered in algae, filthy cushions, and communal areas that haven’t been deep-cleaned in what feels like years. Flies constantly swarm the buffet food, which is left uncovered. Dining tables go uncleared or when they are a school canteen trolley trundled around scrapping plates at tables — genuinely disgusting. The room staff do their best to keep the old tired 80s room clean but leave bags off rubbish and laundry at the door to every apartment “block” FOOD IS INEDIBLE: Easily the worst food I’ve ever experienced at any hotel — let alone one calling itself “luxury.” • Raw baked beans served to my daughter. • A burnt omelette (there was fire as he cooked and I’ve never seen so much oil used. that tasted of smoke and nothing else. • Prawns with black bits looked badand completely inedible (in their al a carte restaurant) • The only passable food was pizza at the beach bar. I could go on but what’s the point!! I’m 21 weeks pregnant and ended up skipping meals out of concern for my health. My four-year-old daughter lived on fruit and cucumber, there was no child’s buffet as you would expect from — not ideal on what’s meant to be a relaxing family holiday. the buffet restaurant is like something from 70s it’s hideous! DRINKS ARE A JOKE: Low-quality, non- branded watered-down spirits served in old gross plastic cups. No drink service to sunbeds — unlike every other five-star resort I’ve stayed at. You have to queue at the pool bar every time for 20 mins , and even then, the drinks are undrinkable. TOWEL CHAOS & SUNBED MADNESS For beach and pool towels you’re told to trek to the beach to collect them, only to be told there are none left every afternoon we went. We were promised towels would be brought to the room — they never arrived! we had a whole last day they could have been delivered (promised at lunch time and we didn’t check out to the following day at 2pm) . As for sunbeds? You need to be up at 7am latest to claim one. People lay towels down and disappear for hours, and staff do nothing to manage it. SEWAGE SMELLS & DATED DECOR: The smell of sewage hits you in several parts of the resort. The interiors look like a tired, gloomy from the 1980s - with the exception of the al a carte restaurant. Absolutely nothing “luxury” about it. UNTRAINED & DISENGAGED STAFF: Aside from one lovely staff member in the al a carte restaurant (Giorges), staff were either cold, indifferent or actively rude. Service is sloppy and inconsistent. We also had a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on our door — and staff entered anyway. A total violation of privacy. ACCOMMODATION MIS-SOLD: We booked a sea-view bungalow and were put in a standard apartment block overlooking air-con units. What we got looked nothing like the booking images.the hotel have said that’s the accommodation well someone should explain to them going up stairs does not a bungalow make. This hotel is deleting bad reviews.They have had mine deleted from Trip advisor - it explains the suspicious number of glowing five-star reviews. Don’t be fooled — the reality is nothing like what’s being portrayed online. The fact that they are selling this as a premium experience is frankly outrageous. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. It is mis-sold, mismanaged, and misleading on every front. I am now in another hotel and loving it- I will review that after the week here!

Very disappointing

Very disappointing – Not worth the money, not true Mitsis standard We are a family of two adults and two children who booked a 14-night stay at the Mitsis Hotel from July 3rd to July 17th. We chose this hotel specifically because we wanted a comfortable stay with a private pool. We paid around €10,000 just for the hotel, excluding flights, so we expected high standards. When we arrived, everything seemed fine. We were told to wait for our room and were given black wristbands that were supposed to indicate we were “VIP guests.” However, this VIP status means absolutely nothing here – we haven’t experienced any benefits from it at all, and there seems to be no point in even having it. Once we got to our room, we were deeply disappointed. It was nothing like the pictures – much smaller, barely enough space to move around the bed. It did not match what we were sold online. We immediately raised the issue via email and at the reception. We were promised they would “look into it within a few days,” but nothing happened. When we followed up, the staff couldn’t even remember us and referred us back to email – which we still haven’t received a reply to. The food is disappointing and limited in variety. Our children struggled to find anything they wanted to eat, so we had to dine outside the hotel most evenings. The à la carte restaurants on-site are fully booked – we’ve now been here for over a week and still haven’t been able to get a table. Service is generally poor. Only 2–3 staff members have been friendly – the rest seem indifferent or even annoyed. The minibar is only restocked every second day, and you only receive one bottle of wine upon arrival, which is laughable given the cost of the stay. We also weren’t allowed to get a bottle of water when leaving the hotel for a drive. We have stayed at three other Mitsis hotels, and none of them were like this. This one feels like a 3-star hotel trying to act like a 5-star, and it’s absolutely not worth the money. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone with even moderate expectations. It has been a major disappointment and has taken away from what was supposed to be a relaxing and luxurious family holiday. After posting this review, I was contacted by the hotel’s general manager. He explained that this Mitsis property is not part of the “Selected” line, which is why the standard here is different from what we’ve previously experienced at other Mitsis hotels. He kindly offered to help us book the à la carte restaurants for the rest of our stay, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, he couldn’t offer a larger or renovated room as there were none available. He also apologized for the unhelpful attitude we experienced at reception and said he would address it internally. The hotel is in a beautiful location with a lovely view – it’s just a shame that we couldn’t get help earlier and had to post a negative review to be taken seriously.

Mitsis Bali Paradise

Mitsis Bali Paradise, Bali, Kreta: Personale i reception, bar og på restaurant er helt i top. De er hjælpsomme og søde. Menuen er varieret og af god kvalitet - og restauranten er ren og pæn, hele tiden. Der er ofte for lang ventetid/kø, til baren og der er alt for få solsenge i poolområdet. De franske guider er forholdsvis uudholdelige - og gør poolområdet svært at nyde. De larmer, råber, synger, spiller musik med tung bas, afholder spontane karaoke-koncerter med dem selv i centrum - og mangler tydeligvis helt basale manerer samt dannelse. Ganske belastende.

Mitsis rhodos Village

Mooi hotel maar met heel wat gebreken. Leuke kamers maar de bedjes aan het zwembad liggen om 7u30 al vol handdoeken om een plaatsje te reserveren. Eten was niet echt top,lauwe gerechten en niet zo veel keus. Ook niet toegankelijk als je slecht te been bent.(Dit mag zeker vermeld worden op de boekingsite) Aan het zwembad boven geen enkele parasol waardoor je een hele dag in de volle zon ligt. Er staan ook te weinig ligbedjes,na 8u30 geen enkel vrij ligbed te vinden aan de zwembaden. In de a la carte restaurants geraakt je gewoon niet binnen,constant volzet. Personeel is wel vriendelijk en doet zijn best!! Wij hadden gelukkig nog een swim up room zodat we daar veel verbleven hebben. Als je gaat voor rust zijn er betere opties dan dit hotel denk ik. Dit zijn geen 5 sterren hooguit 3.

Mitsis Rodos Village

At 50 years old I have taken a lot of holidays and this is by far the worst. We have been here a week and our room has yet to have the floors mopped. They sweep but dont mop. Theres a giant cockroach under our sink dead thats been there the whole time we have been here. The bathroom wall also has a splattered with dead mosquito. The extraction for steam is not working so you have to wait ages for the only mirror to demist if you need for make up etc. Food is cold and congealed and regularly we are sat at a dirty unprepared table. Waiting for drinks service at least 25 mins each time. Massively understaffed. Not enough sunbeds for the guests either. The hotel and rooms are beautiful however the service is shocking. The worst we ever experienced. Regular smells of sewerage too. If you need anything for example our safe keeps breaking we waited nearly 2 hours for assistance. The standard of drinks is very poor. Cocktails rubbish. No decaffe. Tiny glasses for your wine suitable size for a child. We have been bitten relentlessly both in the room and in the hotel grounds. Feral cats are allowed to roam the restaurant helping themselves to whatever they can find. Theres some ongoing work in the grounds but not too noisy. However the rooms are not soundproof and you hear everything around you especially other guests in the loud echo corridors. The reception smile and nod but are really not interested in your problems. This resort is massively understaffed and poorly managed. Dont be taken in like us by the gorgeous photos, its a massive mistake to book here. Spend your money wisely at a better hotel.

Mitsis Grand Hotel.

Mitsis Grand Hotel. Vi har i mange mange år holdt ferie på Mitsis grand hotel. Det er dejligt at komme der og se de kendte ansigter år efter år. Der er en god atmosfære og alle er meget hjælpsomme og venlige . Jeg vil dog Fremhæve Popi som gør en ekstra indsats Altid glad og velfornøget, Altid med et smil i øjet, Aldrig sur og aldrig tvær Derfor fik vi Popi så kær. Med mange venlige hilsner fra familien Ravnsbo fra Danmark

Great overall, would have given 5stars but for a couple points

Mitsis Laguna Crete. Staff in all areas were welcoming, always smiling very friendly and helpful, room cleaned properly everyday, mini bar restocked everyday, fresh towels everyday, beautiful resort very well maintained, very good all round facilities for everyone, families, couples etc food was very good and a massive choice in the main restaurant. The only negative comments are that the 4 themed á La carte restaurants were not that good, the food was average ,and other than being waited on the food in the main restaurant was as good and in a lot of instances better. I must say the food and choice in the main restaurant was excellent. On the website it states men must wear trousers in the restaurant’s in the evening however this is not the case and it is not enforced, when questioned I was told this had been relaxed but not updated on the website which led to confusion with many guests. Apart from these couple of negative points I would visit again and definitely recommend.

Det er ikke 5 stjernet luksuriøs hotel…

Jeg blev overrasket over hvor slidt hotellet .Billeder var meget flotte men lang fra virkeligheden. Hele hotellet er misligholdt og selv om den er stor,pladsen er ikke udnyttet optimalt.2 små pools med alt for lidt plads til solsenge ,der altid var optaget. Beliggenhed ved meget travlt vej,støj og larm hele døgnet. Selv om der var mange spise steder, udvalg var fattig.Buffe restauranten var en stor skuffelse, jeg er ikke til fast food,jeg havde forventet gedin græsk mad,blev desværre skuffet. Ens mad hver dag, 2 a la carte restauranter var fuld booket,og det var ikke muligt at få et bord. Heldigvis smagte jeg deres brunch koncept, men blev lidt overrasket over restriktioner at vi kunne kun smage 2 retter fra menuen. Der var træk og støj på hele hotellet grundet storm vejr i flere dage, vi blev voldsomt forstyrret af støj på værelset grundet defekt altan dør.Vi havde kontaktet reception,der var ingen der dukkede op og kigget på det. Rengøring var fint, men til vores støre undren,at vi skulle sparre på rene håndklæder, kom Rengørings personale også om eftermiddagen og skiftede håndklæder 2 gang på en dag,og larmede faktisk ret meget,bankede løs på døren og gik ind selv om man ikke have bed om det Skulle vi ikke spare på vand? Sengetøj blev skiftet en gang,og dyner og puder var meget slidte. Personale i is caffe mangler helt basale hygiejne regler. Jeg skulle bede om en is vaffel, hun har været forkølet, nyste i son hånd,og gik direkte til at lave en is vaffel til mig.Jeg havde bed hende om at få vasket hænder, hun kiggede mærkeligt på mig.Jeg mistede lysten til is resten af mine ferie. Personale arbejder hårdt og er meget flinke og dedikeret til sit arbejde. Så efter en hel uge,tænker jeg ikke at jeg kommer tilbage til dette hotel,jeg skulle på 5 stjernet luksuriøs hotel som der stå i beskrivelsen, og fik max 3.

Wij verbleven in Mitsis Rodos Village. absoluut GEEN 5 sterren waard. We zijn drie keer eerder in een Mitsis hotel geweest en we gingen ervan uit dat deze Mitsis dezelfde kwaliteit leverde. Maar helaas. eten is slecht: vies, koud, taai. Drankjes: altijd een andere samenstelling en hele lange wachtrijen. Zonne bedjes: worden zoals in de slechte all incl. allemaal al ochtends bezet met handdoeken maar geen mensen. Tafels staan vol met vuile borden en worden niet afgeruimd. Kamer: ontluchting restaurants onder het balkon, lawaai en stank. geen 5 sterren waardig

Myself and my boyfriend recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Mitsis Selection Blue Domes Resort Kos, and I must say it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfection. The hotel's stunning design and breathtaking ocean views left us in awe, and the attention to detail in the rooms was truly impressive. Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The plush bedding and luxurious linens made for a restful night's sleep, and we woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated each morning of our stay, having the joy of stepping out onto our breathtaking balcony overlooking the ocean and neighbouring islands. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional dining experience at the hotel's diverse A La Cart restaurants. The talented chefs created culinary masterpieces that delighted our taste buds with every bite. The diverse menus offered a wide range of options to suit every palate, and the impeccable service only added to the overall dining experience. The hotel's amenities were excellent, from sparkling blue pools to the tranquil spa where I indulged in a relaxing full body massage with my partner. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to ensure guests have everything they need for a truly luxurious and memorable stay. What truly sets the resort apart, is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every interaction we had with the team was met with genuine warmth and professionalism, and it was clear that they truly care about the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. In conclusion, our stay at the Mitsis Selection Blue Domes Resort Kos was truly wonderful and we are very grateful for our stay. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough to anyone looking for an exceptional and memorable hotel experience. We look forward to our next visit and creating more wonderful memories at this outstanding establishment.

Magnifique endroit

Séjour au Mitsis Family Hôtel à la hauteur de nos attentes, identiques aux photos et à la description faite sur le site. Grande chambre, avec vue mer et montagne. Grande terrasse. Propreté irréprochable, avec ménage et changement de serviettes tous les jours. Serviettes de plage proposées gratuitement. Bar à discrétion dans la chambre . Le personnel est très souriant et agréable. Et a toujours un petit mot gentil. Le buffet est très bien fourni, avec du poisson frais qui change tous les jours et de nombreux plats variés. Quant au bar, un très grand choix de cocktail servi par une équipe au top. Effectivement la mer est en bas de la côte.. Mais largement compensé par la vue imprenable. De plus une navette fait en permanence les AR hôtel plage. Pour avoir fait le tour de l'île, c'est vraiment l'endroit idéal pour passer d'excellentes vacances.

Mitsis Rodos Village Hotel

Travelled to Rhodes with my Husband for our Anniversary, we arrived at Mitsis Rodos Village Hotel at around 10:30 at night both tired from travelling only to be told by the receptionist that they had an electrical fault and we have been moved to a different hotel but because of the inconvenience we had been upgraded. I was unhappy and said that i wanted to stay here as this is what i have booked. I was told that if in the morning i could speak to the Hotel manager, reluctantly i agreed but i also said if we do not come back will you make sure that you rearranged our return transfer and we were told yes, We were then told to wait in reception, whilst we stood watching all the other guests that we arrived with being checked in. We finally got a taxi driver to show us to his mini bus, which in my opinion was not road legal but we got in as just wanted to go to bed. We were taken to a Hotel 10 minutes down the road only to be told by the receptionist that we were not booked in. The taxi driver was on the phone (i assume to the Mitsis hotel) by this point i was upset and crying, my Husband stepped in and said to the driver just take us back to Mitsis and we will sort it out. So we got back into this mini bus, i said this isn’t the way we come and he said it is. The driver was struggling to drive as he could not see in the dark, i was petrified that we would crash. We then were taken to another hotel after a 20mins drive by this time it was after midnight. We were shown to our room which was dated and no way near the standard of what i had booked. I called the Mitsis hotel and i was told that i would need to call in the morning. I called in the morning only to be told that the Hotel manager is not available and they will call me back. Meanwhile we spoke to an agent that lives and works in Lindos and we were told that one of there sister hotels had gone into liquidation Mitsis Memories and they were honouring all there booking and guests that had booked direct with them. I never managed to speak with the Hotel manager at Mitis, but as our room was so poor we chose to upgrade at our cost to a better room. We also never managed to get our transfer changed i spent what seemed like hours daily on the phone to try and sort the mess out. No one ever called me back even though they promised. We ended up paying for a private taxi back to the Airport. What a horrible experience from the start.

Best Hotel in Rhodes

This our second visit to mitis grand in Rhodes The best hotel in Rhodes The hotel is first class Reception staff bar and waiters excellent cleaners keep rooms spotless and a well stocked mini bar It was my birthday I got champagne delivered to room And also got a birthday cake 🎂 all supplied my hotel They is so many different places to eat and food is very good 👍 They cater for everyone my daughter has a dairy intolerance and they catered for her excellent all I can say if you want a 5 star experience go to Mitis Grand in Rhodes Highly recommended 👌
