Mint Mobile has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and reliable, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
The phone plan for Mint has been great. But then i decided to buy a new phone with them. How dare I do that! Worst company ever. The phone never even made it to me and i was charged $500. I never got the phone and they refused any support at all. Confirmed delivered by Fedex to H.H.H. THAT IS NOT MY NAME. it was clearly stolen. I purchased insurance but i never even got the phone to activate it. Im tired of getting danced around. I want my money back.
I have wasted an hour in Europe trying to get WiFi calling to work. It has worked on and off and now Mint doesn't even recognize my number. I renewed (annual) on the condition they make the feature work from Europe and they promised. Now I've been on the phone twice, wasting 40 min on two diff calls with two reps, promising they would fix it. f Mint and they'd get a MINUS 1 if that were an option
There should be 2 separate reviews ,one for the service which seems good so far and the second for customer service website and app which totally SUCKS! Been trying all day to log in and it won't recognize either of my mint numbers so I have. O access to my accounts. Customer service is clueless. Spent hrs on the phone with them . They can't help. So now I'm stuck with no account access and no way to change payment method since I do not give payment information over the phone verbally
I just want to say, THE QUALITY OF MINT IS TERRIBLE FOR ME. I live in north Seattle, and I pay for the premium mint plan, and I'm only able to make calls and use data for about six hours per 24 day. During business hours, I rarely am even able to make a call l. Maybe there's something unique about my situation, but my advice is don't use mint if you live in Seattle and need a reliabke network.

UPDATE 6/21/2025: i contacted Mint Mobile per their request and was told "unfortunately you did not terminate your service within our perimeters, so no refund available." i reduced their stars. 6/18/2025:Something I did not realize about Mint Mobile. If you have a phone problem and need to get a temporary phone, they will not help you keep your account. I paid for a full year in December, and my phone died in June. So, I got a phone from somewhere to keep in communication with friends. The new phone is a different carrier, so to keep my phone number that I’ve had for 20+ years, I had to contact Mint Mobile to have them allow me to transfer it to my new phone. They said they had to terminate my account with no refund of the 1/2 year left, and that if I went back to them, I’d have to start a new account and that the money I had already paid would NOT be used toward that new account. The only refund you get is if you cancel with them within SEVEN days of signing up. I asked why they couldn’t put my account on “hold” until I got a new phone, and they said that it was not something they did. I will probably go back to them since they have the lowest carrier rates but not because I think they deserve it – my wallet deserves it. I live on Social Security so every penny counts. The plan I had was the best for me, but losing 1/2 of that payment really hurts.

I am a long time customer. But ... I have a complaint. I have a 20 credit on file. My plan just renewed .... but the credit was not used. What? How am I supposed to realize this credit? I am a long time customer ... but this is a nickle and dime rip off. PS ... Their international service DOES NOT WORK.
