First contact with Minister Law
I was referred to Minster Law after being involved in an accident which was the fault of the third party . I spoke to Kevin Russell who was very helpful and explained the process to me in detail. Thank you!
Minster Law receives consistently positive reviews. Customers particularly appreciate professional and service, though some mention concerns about communication and customer service.

Made it easy to make a claim Especially after a traumatic event
Initially, the service was very poor with no case manager assigned to my case for about two years. However, once Mallory Binks was assigned to my case, she worked hard to ensure that my case could be resolved and supported me to get the best possible outcome. If I could rate Mallory alone, I would give her five starts!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Minster Law on a legal claim, and I couldn't be more grateful for the support and service I received. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to securing the best outcome for me. A special thank you to my solicitor, Matthew Wild, who was outstanding throughout the entire process. He was approachable, thorough, and always kept me informed at every stage. His dedication and clear communication made a potentially stressful situation much easier to handle, and I always felt that my case was in safe hands. I'm very pleased to say that the case was successfully closed in my favour, and I have no doubt that Matthew's hard work played a key role in that result. I highly recommend Minster Law, and especially Matthew Wild, to anyone in need of expert legal support. Thank you again for everything!

Lisa was both compassionate and informative, showing understanding and appreciation of my position. She explained things very concisely but without lacking detail It was a pleasure talking with her
My accident took place in October 2021 and my claim was successfully completed mid August 2024. At the time of the accident I had not experienced making a claim previously, so didn't know what to expect. If I had understood then that the process would take nearly 3 years out of my life, and cause me additional stress on top of the physical injuries and trauma of the accident, I would genuinely never have started it. I advise anyone thinking of making a claim to consider the consequences seriously, and read detailed reviews such as this one, or talk to people who have had the experience. I had some good experiences with the Minster Law team, but also less than satisfactory ones. My initial contact (Alex McBride) was excellent - very supportive and understanding. However, 18 months after the accident I was transferred without warning to another legal executive, and then another, and then another. The Litigation Executive who dealt with the remainder of my claim process over the final year was Kajol Kaur. On the whole Kaj was a good contact, with fairly regular communication. She was sympathetic and supportive and always took time to deal with any queries or uncertainties or explain complex aspects of the process. The reason I have marked Minster Law down to 3 stars is that there were many things I think could have been done better. Too often there were administrative errors in documents, particularly when dealing with financial sums, and I found it frustrating having to point these things out and correct them. There were long periods when nothing seemed to be happening, and long delays that were not explained. The length of time the claim was taking meant that I risked running up against the 3-year statute of limitations. I would have had to take the claim to court to continue, which I didn’t want to do. This meant that the final phase of the process felt rushed, and this affected the phase of negotiations with the defendants. In the end, it felt like the defendants were in the driving seat when it came to finalising the level of settlement. This was disheartening - the defendants had made an unconditional acknowledgement of full liability for an accident that had a major and long-term impact on my life, and caused trauma and physical injuries that continue to affect my life. If we hadn’t been under pressure from the 3-year statute of limitations, I would have wanted to continue negotiations further. There are things that I think Minster Law could have done better. More honest information at the very beginning of the process would have been helpful. I understand that each case is different. However, there are parameters in relation to length of time, likely settlement levels, and the demands that are put upon claimants throughout the process (e.g. likely medical examinations, the need to acquire and provide medical records, lengths of time waiting for reports, the amount of detailed record-keeping and financial and time-related data). Personally, I found that each time I had to sit down and do the work necessary to provide all of this data over a period of nearly 3 years, it brought back to mind all the traumatic details of my accident and delayed my process of recovery. I found that the period of time in 2023 when my case was being passed from legal contact to legal contact over a period of several months was particularly stressful. It would have helped if I had been kept informed of the changes, and the reasons for the changes. In conclusion and summary, I am grateful to Minster Law for a successful conclusion to my claim and am glad that it is all over. Maybe I am naïve, but I was disheartened to find out that my claim did not motivate the defendants to put in place adequate protection to ensure public safety for future visitors to their facilities. I also wish I had known at the beginning the likely consequences of making the claim and the effect it would have on my life.
Massive thank you to Mathew Nash, Natalie Carter and Natalie Redfearn. If I was reviewing Mathew and his team alone it would be a resounding 5* with no faults to mention. I had a 3 year personal injury claim from 11th June 2021, that prior to Mathew and his team being assigned the case had become a burden with a lot of unanswered chasing and long periods of no contact. HOWEVER, after this point; contact was fantastic, updates were informative and if anything, I felt that it was myself letting the side down with slack responses at times. A true sense of trust was built from the very first introductory call with Mathew and I really felt you understood my best interests and eased any concerns. All three of you were truly fantastic! Through the work you, and you three alone put in; I was able to settle my claim, happy with the outcome and can finally begin to put it all behind me. Thank you once again, highly recommended.
