Marsh and Parsons, Tooting - a really good experience!

I recently used the Tooting Bec branch of Marsh and Parson to sell my property and cannot speak highly enough of their Director, Angelo Mulholland. Angelo and Thomas Syms were reliable and honest in their dealings with me, they are both highly experienced agents who know the wider housing market and the local market well and understand the impact of the change in one on the other. Connor Marney, managed the on-the-ground marketing and sale of my property, an absolute star! Calm and reliable, unfailingly polite and hard working I felt really fortunate having Connor as part of my sales team. A big thank you to M&P, I have no hesitation in recommending you!

I worked with Marsh and Parsons to do a short-term lease. My agent rushed me to send over full funds (deposit and entirety of rent) immediately to secure the flat, warning me that I might not get the place otherwise, so I did. He wrote to confirm that I got the place. A month later, he said that I actually did not get the place as apparently the landlord was no longer renting it out, despite the contract and confirmation. He β€œgenerously” β€” that’s sarcasm β€” offered to refund the money. When he sent it back, it was short $1k. He refused to do anything else about it. Not only did he fail to fulfill contract obligations and screw me over that way, he also caused me financial loss for the privilege.

Agency involved with subletting

The worst estate agents. If I could give no star I would. They are working alongside with sublettors. When asked to give evidence for the court they REFUSED!

Very unprofessional company

Very unprofessional company with staff who has no clue about what they are doing. The levels of incopetency is unbelievable. They are unhelpful and unresponsive. Their property management is literally the worst service. Avoid at all costs!

Professional and knowledgeable

I was looking for a let in Chelsea and, as you might imagine, there are lots! Thea, from M & P was so incredible helpful guiding me though my specific needs. She was on time for our appointment, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly yet very professional. It made my search a pleasure and not a chore.l I'm sure she will go on to do great things. I'd employ her in a second!!

Abysmal service

Abysmal service. Took them 2 years to do the first inspection despite continuous chasing. The contractors they use for any work (MasterFix - google them) are terrible, expensive and also pretty useless. Theyve made the whole property rental process miserable and I cant wait to be done with them. To make it even worse, instead of addressing the issues and trying to fix it, they reported my original review for containing the name of the property manager who is beyond useless.

Worst experience for renting

Worst experience for renting, asking for 6 months rent 3 months before moving in date, then asking to pay 2 months in advance for rent throughout the rest of tenancy, it was never agreed, it was added to the contract in small print only realised after.

Today I had a very bad experience with…

Today I had a very bad experience with you letting manager(Roy Khan) over the phone . As my contact is going to end on 27/05/2023 I was contactez by a letting agent to have a view yesterday and I was agree. This morning I was contacted again to have another 4 views . I respond back that I can have one of them and that this 4 over 1 hour and 30 minute is to much, and I can't have every day views like that , I can give a day a week to have views. Then after 1 minute I was call by the letting manager Roy Khan and I spoke with him telling him the same think that I can't have every day views the time that they want because i have work and i can'tbe home all the time. ln response with a very rude tone that the reason for that is because I don’t give them access without be beeing home . I said that I will never leave someone ele to be in my house where I pay rent without me or my collegues beeing home. Then he start to threaten and to intimidate me by telling that is going to deduct money from the depozit if I don’t give them access for views. He sow that I don’t let me intimidated and he try again by saying that if I don’t give them access they will contact the land lord and they will give me a 24 hours notice and then they will enter the property with or without us. This words are big words and what he said is trasspassing, entering a house without my concent. This is not a profesional way of dealing with a 30 months client who paid the rent every single time with no delay. After today if I can give a note is -10 and I will never work again with this company, and defenetly I will not recomand this letting company to anyone. I am very disappointed the way that I was treated

Unprofessional and not customer oriented

Terrible experience renting a property managed by Marsh and Parsons: - they were extremely slow to work on urgent requests (heating, hot water, electrical faults) - they let a property without basic legal standards - they didn't inform us when the point of contact changed and we spent months without a repsonse - they were not professional and transparent with the pricing of their cleaning service
