Borderline a scam

Borderline a scam. Company forces you into a rolling contract with no way to cancel it without ringing but I've had better customer service from offshore scammers. They speak to you like they are annoyed your even calling. Constantly put the phone down so you have to wait on hold another 20 mins. Trading standards should investigate this sham of a company

Poorly handled Fraud claim

It has been 5 months since I reported an account being fraudulently opened in my name. This fraudulent account has defaulted and has had a significant impact on my credit report (which is how I found out). I was told it had to be fixed with the email team and I was not able to speak to someone about it. The generic email responses have provided no further clarity and my credit continues to go down. I would have expected them to take a fraud claim more seriously. It is still not resolved. Extremely disappointed.

None existent customer service.

None existent customer service. I have been trying for months to close my account. I foolishly took out a 12 month contract as my son was going travelling and I wanted him to keep in touch. This contract expired in March 2025. Nowhere along the way did I sign up for a rolling contract. Lyca have continued taking unauthorised payments from my bank and have consistently ignored my emails about closing my account. It literally is like banging your head against a wall. They will trot out the generic apology on here but nothing actually gets actioned. The Lyca phone number is: - 07466603430 It was never used in the 12 months I had it, the service is absolutely terrible. If you value your sanity, you should look elsewhere. They truly are the worst mobile carrier in the UK.

Shocking customer service

If I could I would not give Lyca any stars. Their Customer Service is abysmal. 3 weeks down the line, and I’m still waiting on a response to my email. Called the call centre who advised unable to access my account but would nudge the team that deal with emails. Surely customer service are there to help you resolve issues. Sent a further email only for it to be returned advising their mailbox was full. Absolutely shocking service.
