The estate agents at keenans were incompetent luddites who slowed down our process of buying a house immensely and almsot caused the entire sale to fall through. They took forever to respond to e-mails (if they ever even did), ignored questions and left out key information, delayed passing time sensitive information from the sellers to us, and overally made the experience a nightmare
There is now a ninth access request so far this year this time for a house inspection. I can't work at my career/ job. Then as i'm tidying up for a house inspection they send me a a rent invoice even though i paid my rent three weeks early. They have toxicated my e mail inbox. And i can't work due to never ending access requests. There e mails to me are horrible.
The viewing team is really good and at the start they make you feel like buying from them is a good idea But once you have the bid accepted it comes a different ball game. Rat like pushy and people who don't work in the local branches take over. I wouldn't deal with them buying or selling When I sold my home they priced it higher than expected but couldn't sell it for months on end. Lowering the price and taking a large cut. They did not keep me up to date with the guy buying it even tho they had contacted to try and let me know about works and negotiations

James Brooking and all the team at the Rawtenstall branch have been absolutely brilliant in helping us secure our dream house. Polite, friendly and pro-active in every way. He has given help and advice throughout what can be quite a stressful process and explained everything to us in great detail. If they couldn’t give us a answer there and then they would update us to say why and also a timescale of when they’ll be able too do so. If James wasn’t available everyone else in the office was able to update us as they all seemed to know what was going on. Communication is key in situations like this and this is where James has excelled. We’ve been that impressed with the service that we’ve decided to rent our property through Keenans as well. I sold my house through Keenan’s in Clitheroe and received excellent service from start to finish. Sam, the valuer, was great to deal with and was efficient and helpful. The whole process was made to be very easy throughout and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I would like to say what a excellent estate agents Keenans are. From start to Finnish and the bits in-between I could not fault them. A special mention for Simon who came to apprise the house first, what a true professional he was he explained all what Keenans would do to sell our house and explained in detail how the company's department's work. I have used Keenans now to buy several properties and to sell one, and my experience is ongoing currently. I could not fault them, they have been incredibly proactive in marketing my property, getting an incredible number of viewings and ultimately securing a sale at asking price for a tricky property with a tiny bathroom that could not be improved. On the purchase front they are also really proactive, contacting me on a weekly basis to let me know of progress, ironing out any difficulties and ensuring that every purchase goes smoothly and quickly. I could not possibly mention them all but special thanks to Rob, Jonathan, Sophie, Dave, Adam and Jess at Accrington office for their professionalism, friendly welcome approach and all-round effort.

Efficient, organised and a professional Estate Agents! There are some negative reviews on here, but I have nothing but praise for Keenans Estate Agents especially Simon from the Swinton branch. From start to finish Simon from Swinton has been absolutely fabulous! He is efficient, organised and very professional throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend Keenan’s or Simon!
