Plants turned up in very poor condition,the person I spoke to when i rang customer services was very rude.She said the plants are live things and the weather can effect them,well that says it all,they are sending plants our even if they are crap condition.Just buy your plants elsware and save yourself time and hasle.
Several members of staff told totally different versions of what had happened to my order. Each one was a lie. A manager called to say the items had been dispatched yesterday and would arrive either yesterday (what - same day as dispatch?) or today yet the cheap courier says it will be at least 2 more days. That means they do not deliver within the stated 21 days from order. Additionally the manager said an email of the items being shipped had been sent, which it hadn’t and was only sent today following a formal complaint. The manager also said I had been sent an email about 1 item that wasn’t available and the refund amount due. Again no such email. However following my formal complaint another ill informed person sent me a list of items ordered and now 30% of my order appears to be unavailable. I accept that things go wrong but this is absolutely appalling. This once good company has gone to s**t. I will never be doing business with them ever again. Disgusting service!
Refunded after waiting with no estimated delivery time
Sadly, I had to request a refund.
An order of 7 items that was placed over a month ago still hadn't been delivered (despite on the website stating 2 weeks delivery - and still stating this and not having received my order).
When I contacted the company I was told they were awaiting delivery from their sister company but still couldn't give me any idea of when my order will arrive as they deliver first come first serve.
After another week, I requested a refund which was put through promptly.
I must say their customer service for replying to emails is quite quick, just unfortunate that they couldn't give me an estimated delivery time, otherwise I would have waited.
The astrantia I ordered was in a poor condition when it arrived - dried up with virtually no foliage. I whatsapped customer services who replied "some plants have little or no foliage due to them dying back from its previous season". It's June. The astrantias I have in my garden are in full bloom with lots of foliage!
I was given the option of returning the plant at my expense.
I won't be using this company again.
I have ordered from j Parker’s for 3 years consequent and have had a problem each time.
First plants were poor
Second sent standard as apposed to trailing
Thirdly same prom as second time.
Emails were of no outcome l even sent pictures of the plants planted up & they acknowledged by saying they will give a full refund if l return them, it was a joke as they were planted & they could see that in the pictures.
Awful customer service won’t be using again
The catanache plants arrived in good condition with good roots. They were potted up for a relatively short time and recently planted out in the jungle garden, and flowering.

Thank you for your reply. I did contact the team as advised and was told to wait until next spring or consider a return. Unfortunately, the plant in question has since died, while the others have remained healthy and green.

Disappointed with the quality of plants. Appreciate they are guaranteed for 12 months but the lavendar came a sad looking single stemed plug. Previous purchases were okay. Supporting local garden centres in future. The juice just isn't worth the squeeze
Horrendous quality plants and terrible customer service
Horrendous quality of plants and most of them root bound where i had to cut them out of the pot. Missing parts of the order and when I contacted the customer service teams they were rude, unhelpful and didn't do a thing to rectify things. Avoid at all costs. Would never use again!

J Parker are an absolute disgrace
I have placed two orders in the last 3 weeks. Both times the plants/trees were delivered by Evri and took ages to come, the boxes were crushed and damaged and the plants were all but dead. Packaging for the palnts/trees is a bit of paper then the plants thrown in a box all together. After contacting JParkers to complain after the second delivery, I was asked to plant the trees and see what happens. I did not pay for plants in poor condition, I paid for healthy established plants. So honestly if you're shopping for plants, avoid this place, a shame really as they were fantastic when I bought from them in 2022 & 2023.
The plants arrived in very poor health. The hydrangea looked completely dried out with brown leaves. For a fraction of a price more I have seen beautiful blooming specimens in local garden stores. I have ordered from several online retailers and usually the plants were very carefully selected. Unfortunately this was not the case with J Parkers and the support was not very helpful advising me to wait 2 weeks and try to revive the plant. Will avoid this retailer in the future.
